"First impressions, they spend way more money on the lobby than they did the rooms. Our room door handle was broken wouldn't shut. Huge pain. They did fix it quickly. We had a king room and it was so empty it echoed so bad in the room. We had a 5 day stay and on day 3 morning I asked for towels and said we had no housekeeping and was told they only clean every 3 days. Like what? Anyways housekeeping came took the trash left no towels no toilet paper. I went to complain and yet the phone did not work. Went down to the lobby asked for towels and toilet paper and to let them know the phone didnt work. Got toilet paper finally. Towels they brought later but they give you 3 towels for 3 days?? Why would housekeeping only come every 3 days. And charge a resort fee.. where's the resort? Its a run down hotel. I will not be staying again. Could of done so much better than the Radisson. Lesson learned. Hot tub is small, pool isnt great either. Only nice thing is the ocean view. But the chairs they have on the balcony are plastic and lay back so far you cant see out. And the upper balconies ac unit leaks down and just gets all over you. Thats annoying. Would be nice to have normal chairs on the balcony and maybe a little table to enjoy being outside. Parking is also so annoying. Never any room have to park next door in front of a bar and grill."

"Excellent beach view at the higher prices. We did use laundry room which was convenient. Staff was very nice. I didnt like the lighting in the room or the power outlets for my phone. The lights between the 2 beds were not usable, therefore no phone outlets. It was hard to get room bright and other electric outlets didnt work either. Be sure to check right away if your shower has hot water. We were out for three days then on the last day, the water in the whole place was turned off, I dont know how long. Happy hour everyday was awesome. Perfect. Caesar salad with chicken, tacos, and pizza were all delicious. Rouses grocery is just a few miles down the road. There's an super store next to it $14.99 and below. It's true, same stuff as other places. Same 40$ sweatshirt for $14.99 Bike rental is close and State Park is almost just across the street. A must see. Overall, I would recommend this hotel."

Hotel Zaza Houston Museum District

10/10 Excellent

"We love staying at this Zaza for Houston museums, zoo, and Hermann park visits. Price is elevated, but the quality of stay is top notch. Very spacious room at standard rate. Turndown service with a Moon Pie or chocolate, and a bottle of water. Over the span of a couple of days, we had an excellent breakfast and excellent dinner at Monarch. This weekend coincided with a prom being held in the big ballroom. The staff runs things so well that, as a guest, this was not a disruption at all to us."

10/10 Excellent

"Spent a beautiful 4 days at the Wyndham with my wife and couldn't of been happier. The staff was so gracious and helpful, the room was very clean and cleaned daily, spent our days going from the beach which is a very short walk across the street to the pool and it was perfect."
