"It's a cabin in the middle of the woods, as long as you read the emails and pay attention there isn't any surprises. "The cabin was cozy and spacious at the same time. Very accommodating and very clean! We had a beautiful view of the lake with room to sit outside with loved ones. Tara was a fantastic host and communication was smooth and swift. Would recommend this cabin 100% to anyone looking to make relaxing and beautiful memories! Cannot wait to come back next year and make more!"

"The views were magnificent! We took advantage of the continental breakfast every morning - a bonus was being able to pick fresh Maine blueberries to eat with those meals! My son enjoyed practicing disc golf after purchasing a starter set at Northwoods Outfitters. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating!"

"Wonderful house with everything you need for a visit to Moosehead Lake. Well appointed. Beautiful view and little private area to watch the sky change over the lake. We will definitely return and you will not be disappointed if you rent this house!"

"Great cabin on an inlet of the main lake. The kids enjoyed fishing and swimming from the dock. We followed other reviewers and brought our own camp chairs for the yard/fire pit area. Downstairs bedroom is pretty noisy with any movement on the stairs or in the upstairs areas. Train was noticeable but only woke me once. We stayed Sat-Wed and it was the most active Tuesday night, seemed to be idling nearby for more than an hour which was only slightly annoying as we enjoyed sitting around the fire-pit. Would return for the other benefits."

"The facilities and location were great. My only comment is when I made reservations, I made the assumption that "trail side" lodging meant next (or very near) to the Appalachian Trail which we had come to the area to hike. The facility is actually next to a fairly busy ATV trail which I should have known by researching the facility better. The facility is convenient to the town of Monson and not too far from the AT, so all was well. Just a heads-up for future guests."
