"The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nixon the lodge manager assisted us in taking our luggage to the room. All of the lodges are connected by a wooden walkway in the bush. The rooms were very nice and recently renovated. There is a great viewing deck where you can view the wild life. We saw 6 giraffes and several impalas the morning we were checking out which was exciting!! I would definitely recommend the Panzi Lodge to others! "

"The people working there was nice, welcoming and helpful, but thats about the only positive quality it had. There was an A/C but it didnt work, power socket didnt work, not even a toilet seat.. it's R150 for a basic toilet seat it's not much to ask for in a room. There was a large amount of dust in the room, to a point you could feel it coming down from the roof while you were laying in bed. The place looks like it might have been nice 10 years ago but hasnt seen a day of maintanance in years....

"Loved visiting Leopard's Lair - the setting is excellent on the "other" end of Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate and on the Mohlabetsi river - it really feels secluded and more "in the bush". The rooms are large and beautiful with the patio/balcony and outdoor showers. The team is excellent - our host and property manager Sonja was warm and wonderful and had so many great suggestions about Hoedspruit (all her food recommendations were perfect!)."

"Beautiful hotel with stunning rooms and real sense of luxury. The pool and grounds are so tranquil and calm and everything is immaculate The staff are attentive and professional and the setting is beautiful with giraffe and zebra roaming around - so lovely. The restaurant is gorgeous. The only tiny bit of feedback is that the restaurant staff got things a bit confused for us and forgot some of the food and got the courses mixed up so the children got their main courses while the adults were served the starter so then had to wait ages for their pudding while we had the rest of the meal, and the side orders of vegetables never materialised but overall we had a wonderful stay "
