About this property

SALT-MARSH HOUSE IN THE HEART OF THE SALT MARSHES

  • 🏡Charming Saillotine house of 110m2 on two levels, completely renovated, ideal for your holidays with family or friends.
Nestled in the heart of the old village of SAILLÉ, between land and sea, ideally located for your walks or bike rides.

🌟SAILLÉ is located on a rocky promontory forming an island (alt 4m) in the heart of the salt marshes of GUÉRANDE and you will be seduced by the calm that reigns there and the typicity of its houses!
Top A place in the history of France, Duke Jean IV of Brittany married Joan of Navarre in 1386 in the church of Saint-Clair.

🌟On site, thanks to a visit to the ecomuseum, you can discover the fascinating history of the salt marshes and the work of salt workers! From April to October, in the company of a guide, you can watch the harvest of coarse salt or fleur de sel!

🌟Two restaurants are present in SAILLÉ as well as a tobacconist/press and bread depot.

🌟5 minutes away by car, you can discover GUÉRANDE and its ramparts, fortifications that surround the medieval city (site classified as a historical monument).... children love it!

🌟Also 5 minutes by car from SAILLÉ, you will enjoy the magnificent beach of La BAULE, ideal for families with children! And if you are looking for peace and quiet and wide open spaces, the WILD COAST is for you, with its protected areas that can be explored on foot via the famous "GR34", or by bike, over a distance of 20km starting from POULIGUEN, passing through BATZ SUR MER and up to CROISIC, a magnificent little town of character!
