"I've traveled to a few places in the world, I come to Dominican Republic every month I stay in a lot of hotels or motels this is the worst of all of them... The check in process is horrible. No reception to check in, if you don't get there before 10pm you loose your reservation which is what happened to me. They have no parking just one electric door in a dark scary alley. I had to get a different hotel for the night. You'll lose the money if you come here."

"En general, todo muy bien….aclaro que en el sector y servicio solo adultos…. Fallaron en la atención solo una vez en la cena de un restaurante ( ante reiteraciones de pedido, nunca nos trajeron la bebida) El resto, todo ok!!! Muy recomendable !!! "Secrets is an amazing adult all inclusive! The place is stunningly beautiful!! The staff is super kind, constantly greeting you. If you pay an additional fee you can do the Preferred Club that gives you access to a more private quiet pool area, private lounge and bar, room drinks (wine and champagne) , beach bag, and additional perks. We enjoyed the buffet at Caoba and Spice Market. Even the pickiest eater will find something to eat. Everything is fresh, meats and fish cooked to order, pastries, bread, desserts, fruit, I mean I can go on and on about the options. There is night entertainment at both Secrets and Dreams. The music entertainment was phenomenal, very talented group of musicians, singers and dancers. They have a water park in the Dreams section open 10am-5pm. There's a food truck there too. Beach is clean and calm. There is security all around the premises and cameras throughout. The landscape is beautiful and everyone is well kept! We also had massages at Ámbar Spa and that was super nice as well. The gym is open 24 hours. I will return and I will also recommend to family and friends! Thank you Secrets for an amazing vacation!"

"The area was beautiful, staff very friendly people, cleaning the rooms every day, not sure about restaurants i attended only the French I loved the food and serving, the other restaurants were booked in advance. "The place is large and most attractions are located with a brief walk which is better than others. The food in the buffet is very good. The beach is very nice, but has rough rocks under the surf and requires water shoes - this is important. At night, the place it very beautiful with lighting and the activities are a delight. It is family place and the cheerful vibe is simply the best, I must say, of about any other similar resort I have been. They do a good job of maintaining the "family atmosphere". Things to be aware of: The some of the staff do not explain the property well--for example where large attractions are located (restaurants, beach and pool) - believe it or not. They sell you a Sunscape upgrade which they say is needed making this not really all inclusive, and do not explain what is included very well - they give a photocopy list. We missed out on some things even after asking several questions in their "Sunscape" center. There is no map of the property. It took until 3:30 for them to find a room which was requested over 24 hours before check-in, The room provided was a disaster - period and should not have been offered in the first place. An upgrade was provided which was VERY nice and only costs a little more. The snack bar and reception area food was not fresh with hot foods were at room temp. Overall, if you educate yourself about what is here and how things work before coming here, you can have a great time."
