Pros: We had a delightful stay at Casa Rosa, with support all the way from Shirley, always incredibly prompt with responses to even the smallest of queries.
Arriving late at night, ascending the astonishingly steep track upon which the house sits was not a little daunting, but the coded safe revealed the door- and gate keys and, once inside, the immaculate state of the house, welcome pack and abundance of fluffy towels more than met our expectations.
The next morning, we were able to appreciate fully the magnificent location, with exquisite views and beautifully-apportioned garden furniture. The swimming pool was as advertised as was everything else.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it warmly to anyone who likes peace, quiet and a taste of 'real' Spain.
We visited Malaga's old town and the Picasso museum (about 45 mins), Marbella beaches and old town (ca. 25 mins), the spectacularly-positioned Ronda (ca 1 hour 45 mins on winding country road), Tarifa (similar journey-length along more major roads), Tollox and Coin as well as walking over the hills above Guaro and enjoying being near the local village.
