A great swiming pool area

We spent a marvelous summer time enjoying the swiming pool area, páddle court, minigolf,… The only problem was we couldnt connect the smart tv with the chromecast. Quite close to the beach, we went in 3 minutes by car. The check in was perfect with Natasha. Thank you very much!

Just not for Us.

We stayed at this apartment from the 2nd August for 2 weeks. A family of 5. Before I booked I re checked a number of points as these were crucial in making the booking. The owner Jan was always very quick to reply and helpful. We did not want to hire a car so quick and easy access to the beach, town centre and a supermarket were essential. In our opinion you definitely need a car, it is not 300 metres to the beach or shops, maybe as a crow flies, but you walk down to the main road, past so much dog faeces it is rather unpleasant, over a flyover and then a ten minute walk to the beach. The shops mean the same initial walk but going through an underpass and then a further five minutes for the Mercadona or ten to get into the central town. This caused us problems and taxi's were used a lot. The apartment was almost as advertised except there was not a Jacuzzi bath in the en suite, something I had been looking forward to. The pool area was kept clean, never a problem getting a sun bed. Certain owners of other apartments had issues with us being in the pool between 2 and 5, and kept telling us it was siesta time and to be quiet! It was also disappointing that the indoor spa pool was not open as it looked lovely and we were not told it would be closed. Every part of the complex is key access so it felt very secure, lots of other owners were there at the same time as us and were very friendly. As said previously the owner is very helpful and on our arrival day took us to the local supermarket and waited to take us back, this helped so much as we had no shopping . Perhaps as an option a welcome pack could be offered, water, tea, milk, biscuits, this would of been so useful and would quite happily paid extra for this. The beaches are lovely, but the we encountered red flags on all but two of our visits, so could not indulge in as many water sports as would of liked. The lifeguards were excellent, even had to risk there own lives when people chose to ignore the flag system. All in all our holiday was okay, I prefer more pampering, housekeeping service, drinks by the pool etc ,for a young family who want to be pool based and have a car it would be perfect. It was just not for us.

Appartement au top, avec beaucoup d équipements pour faciliter le sejour (draps et serviettes fournies, cuisine équipée, machine à laver, grande terrasse, grands espaces) et pour profiter (tennis, piscine, mini golf, salle de sport). La résidence est calme. Le quartier est calme, pas de bruits de voitures. Tout se fait à pied mais il faut aimer marcher. Je recommande pour des vacances tranquilles.

No es lo que parece

Voy a ser breve.. limpieza horrible. Nos encontramos papel mojado y sucio en el bidé. Tazas de baño sucias. Muebles. Las almohadas si quitabas las fundas estaban negras y con mil manchas. La playa si o si tienes que ir en coche. Te recibe una persona que solo habla inglés la cual te quiere cobrar luz y limpieza a parte de lo que ya pagas en tu reserva cuando eso no está escrito en el contrato (cuidado) y otro dato súper importante que no lo específican en ningún momento es que la zona de SPA no está Abierta en temporada de verano. El GYM es imposible usar por el deterioro de las máquinas (oxidado) las piscinas bien.. pero por las tardes da sombra. Escribo esto para que no les pase a otras personas como nos paso a nosotros. Un saludo

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit Sicht aufs Meer. Grosser Pool und Whirlpool. Ab Oktober leider etwas kühl. Leider war er dieses Jahr erst ab November geöffnet. Mit dem Auto nur 5 Minuten zum Strand oder zu Fuss 20 Minuten. Jan ist ein sehr netter Vermieter der sofort jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Danke Jan!

The apartment is lovely, comfortable and clean. There were just a few minor things which stopped it being perfect. In the lounge and both bedrooms, one of the light bulbs wasn’t working. One toilet seat was broken and another loose. The owner said he had to order one as they were a non-standard design. Maybe he ought to order a spare! The drinking glasses were mismatched and odd numbers. Several were chipped or cracked. The facilities in the spa were lovely but, again, let down by a few problems. The jacuzzi was quite cool, not much warmer than the pool. The changing rooms were not very clean.

Beautiful apartment with breath taking Seaview and huge balcony.

Great place for a family and couples, well equipment with all amenities at the side. Nice swimming pool (outdoor and indoor), tennis court and gym with sauna. Walking distance to the restaurants and the sea, although we used car as we had toddler with us and was hendy for shopping. Jan is a great host, show as around on arrival and gave us few tips for local foods and markets, he also organised the cot bed which wasn’t mentioned in the original booking, very helpful. Guardamar Hillis Apartments are beautiful, area is easy going and safe place, highly recommending.

Very nice property although a few imperfections noted.

The apartment is fairly well equipped although it could have done with a couple more tumblers - only 2 between 5 people. The toilet seats in both bathrooms were broken which we felt could have been attended to before we arrived and there was a nasty jagged, rusty bracket in the Shower of the master bedroom. It would have been nice to have at least a couple of bottles of water in the apartment when we arrived. None of the above affected our lovely holiday and we hope the comments are taken as constructive rather than negative.

Lägenheten motsvarade bilderna på nätet. Rummen var fräscha, och terrassen hade en otrolig utsikt. Det var en bit att gå till havet, ca 800 m men stranden var jättefin och lång. Inga problem att hitta plats. Poolområdet på resorten var också fin, och väldigt lite folk, inga problem att få solstolar. In till centrum tog det ca 15 min att gå och där fanns stor supermarket. Jan som har lägenheten var mycket tillmötesgående. Han kom och mötte upp vid lägenheten och visade runt, och det var inga problem att ringa honom när som helst om vi hade frågor. Vi kan klart rekommendera denna lägenhet.

perfectas vacaciones

Excelente apartamento e instalaciones. Muy cerca de la playa (en coche). Piso perfectamente equipado y con todas las comodidades. Playas de arena fina y agua cálida. Sin duda repetiremos . Dimos un paseo en velero increíble con Antonio de taz sailing una experiencia inolvidable. La urbanización tiene excelentes instalaciones.De 10!!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Les photos correspondent bien à la réalité, nous n'avons vraiment pas été déçus, appartement idéal pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants, tout équipé et la piscine proposant 2 bassins convient à tous, résidence située dans un endroit très calme et à 15 min de la plage. Nous le conseillons à tous! Par contre pensez à louer une voiture notamment pour les courses car même si il y a une supérette pas très loin il faut pouvoir les remonter...et pour visiter les alentours! Les propriétaires sont très gentils, accueillants et chaleureux! Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute! Encore un grand Merci à Suzan & Jan.

Mooi en luxe appartement met een fantastisch uitzicht op de Middellandse Zee

Nadat wij zelf 8 jaar lang een woning hebben gehad in Rojales, die wij in september 2015 hebben verkocht, wilden wij toch weer terug naar de Costa Blanca (Guardamar) voor een beetje rust en zon. Via HomeAway kwamen wij op dit appartement en daar hebben wij geen spijt van gehad. Wij waren hier van 19 t/m 26 maart 2016. De eigenaar heeft ons persoonlijk opgehaald van luchthaven Alicante en wij konden tevens (tegen een geringe vergoeding) gebruik maken van zijn auto gedurende ons verblijf. Het is namelijk wel wenselijk een auto te hebben om overal naar toe te gaan. Het appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien en met name het terras met glaspanelen is heerlijk als het te koud is om buiten te zitten. Er waren aanvankelijk wat aanloopproblemen omdat er twee dagen voor onze komst een stroomstoring was geweest waardoor ook de stoppenkast wat ontregeld was. De eigenaar heeft echter adequaat gereageerd op onze storingsmelding en is direct langsgekomen om e.e.a. te verhelpen. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en heeft o.a. koelkast, airco, inductie kookplaat, vaatwasser, wasmachine en wasdroger. Ook een televisie met NL zenders en een geluidsinstallatie is aanwezig. Kortom, het ontbrak eigenlijk aan niets. De vloeren van het appartement en de badkamers zijn geheel uitgevoerd in marmer en ook een kluisje is aanwezig. Voor wat betreft de algemene voorzieningen is er een groot buitenzwembad, een binnenzwembad, jacuzzi, sauna en een fitnessruimte met diverse apparatuur (alles gratis toegankelijk voor bewoners en huurders). En als de zon dan ook nog uitbundig schijnt, dan zijn alle ingrediënten voor een fijne vakantie voorhanden. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is geweldig. Santa Pola kun je zien liggen en op een heldere dag ook het eiland Tabarca. De stranden van Guardamar en ook Torrevieja zijn prachtig en ook een wandeling in de duinen van Guardamar kan ik van harte aanbevelen. De boulevards van genoemde plaatsen zijn heel gezellig met vele terrasjes. Toen wij weer naar huis moesten heeft de eigenaar ons weer netjes naar de luchthaven gebracht. Wij overwegen in ieder geval om in september weer terug te komen en dan kiezen wij zeker weer voor dit appartement. Richard Smit

Echt hele luxe vakantiewoning

We hebben een hele mooie week gehad! Alles is vrijwel nieuw. Ideaal is het binnenzwembad. Mijn dochter heeft er uren gezwommen. Deze had zelfs een bubbelbad en een sauna. We werden keurig oo tijd opgehaald van het vliegveld door de eigenaar. We komen hier zeker terug. Wellicht in de zomer, zodat we ook in het buiten zwembad kunnen zwemmen.
