"The theme of the room was very beautiful. Even though there were other people there, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful."

"Our stay at Lifu Garden Inn was fantastic. The host is so kind and helpful. We arrived low on gas and they helped us fill up from a local nearby since the gas station there is not yet completed. The drive up to Lifu is incredible. What an amazing place to live. The restaurants are about 3 min up the road and are all delicious and the views are unbelievable with the fog rolling around on the mountains. Breakfast was great and the resident kitty, "mouse" was a sweetheart. We would absolutely stay...

"It has been the best accomodation environment during my trip to Taiwan. The forest and streams of valleys around hotel and hotel design were all beautiful. In particular, the kindness of young owner and his parents were so kind with warm heart. Young owner's english was so fluent that I had no problem comunicating with him. His explanation where to visit was very helpful. If I go Lala mountain, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Both breakfast and dinner are delicious. I was even more...

"An exceptional hotel with a charming European ambiance and exquisite cuisine crafted by a chef who previously worked at a Michelin-starred restaurant. The service is outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. Staying here feels like enjoying a European getaway, but with an even more welcoming atmosphere."

"The hotel is located within 5min walk from the Taipei Train Stations and is super close to one of the subway exits. It has a good selection of restaurants and convenient stores (711 and Family Mart) right next to it. The location can't be more convenient - there is even signs for it in the subway station.
Clearly it's been around for many years - which can be told from the furniture and the size of the room, but the room is clean. The facilities are maintained well and functional - and very traveller friendly. I was under the weather during my stay in Taiwan so I appreciate that I could turn off the AC so I don't get another cold.
The hotel lobby even has a tiny postbox for one to drop off letters/postcards, which is lovely. The staffs are friendly and helpful."
"I have stayed here before, the service is good, decent breakfest and the property is close enough to everything that getting around should not be an issue. Granted you will have to walk to the MRT but its the same distance to the computer market and shopping in that area. There is few food choices around the hotel but the quick walk to the MRT can get you anywhere you want/need to go."
"Very convenient location. Friendly staff. Perfect choice when touring in Taipei. It would be nicer if they can allow 12:00 pm check-out rather than 11:00 am. Sometimes 1-hour extension makes a big difference."
"The staff and service was excellent and the room was very functional. The Japanese style breakfast was delicious and the Japanese baths made you feel like you were back in Japan. It just would have been nice to know in advance that there was extensive construction around the building and in the lounge."
"Overall this hotel is great, its very well located, easy access to subway, shops, etc and very centrally located so its easy to get anywhere in Taipei. My room had a great view of the 101 which is always great when visiting Taipei because its so iconic and really reminds you where you are. The rooms are modern, comfortable and most importantly, very clean. I will definitely stay there again but I do want to give feedback on 2 things that could be better.
1. the lifts - on the weekend only 2 are in operation. its not that you have to wait too long but its also a bit slow sometimes. Not a deal breaker, just something to consider because the lobby is actually on the 14th floor, not groud.
2. power sockets - this was by far the biggest issue. For some strange reason, there are no sockets located anywhere near the bed and the only one available (at least in my room) was on the desk. I think most people like to have their phone handy and charging overnight, so be prepared, you might need an extension cable. On that subject, I did ask the reception if they had one, they didnt, so I ended up buying one. I left it behind, so hopefully if you need one, they should have at least one from me :p"
