The market in Guamote (Thursday) was an incredible experience. Totally for locals, very few gringos, three separate areas of animal markets, fresh produce, cooked foods, no souvenirs or tourist tar. 100% recommended

"A wonderful stay. Not only is this guest house run for a great cause (education of indigenous people in Guamote and surroundings) it is done without sacrificing any comfort, style or creativity for guests.
