"This guest house is great. The staff are so helpful. Emmanuel on reception contacted us in advance to give us really useful travel advice. The ferry dropped us straight to the guest house so we didn’t have to carry our bags a long distance. We were in the lagoon room which had an amazing view. Really good value for money. I definitely recommend this place. "

"Tortuguero is expensive, even by Costa Rica standards. Our room was basic with hottish water. The room was cleaned every day but the bed was broken and the pipes were all patched up in the bathroom which made it seem a bit down at heel. Hotel receptionist was helpful but very keen to push tours. "
