Staneydale Neolithic Temple. Although called Staneydale Temple, it is not known what the function of this for its time very large building was. One interesting feature is that it stands in one of very few places in Shetland from which the sea cannot be seen in any direction.

We had a lovely stay at the Varis House. The location was very good, close enough to everything. The room was cozy and warm. Enjoyed our stay and Nigel was was so great helping us with all the information we needed. Perfect place for staying in Lerwick.

Comfortable and convenient place to stay in a quiet area of downtown Lerwick. I did not have a car and could walk to local bus, restaurants, shops, groceries. I was very happy with my two-week stay and would stay there again. James and Mandy were excellent hosts.
