Frühstück so lala.

"The room was old and smelled of old carpet and drapes. There were silverfish bugs crawling on the drapes. The bed mattresses were rock hard and uncomfortable. The room was not up to any standard fire code as several door needed a physical metal key to enter with locking doors. Outside the hotel an outdoor nightclub played music at an extremely high volume till 2 am making it impossible to sleep! Avoid this mess at all costs! "

"This is a great resort for families with kids up to about 6 years old. The facilities cater amazingly to thaat age group. For older kids the pool is very good and the games room is also good, but the kids program for 7-9 year olds is only ok. Breakfast buffet is fantastic, with great choices. The appartment we stayed in was a very good size with plenty of space. It is about 15-20 minute walk to the beach, which for us was fine. You can rent bikes for a good proce if you want to explore...

"Locatie was top!

Baltic Park Fort by Zdrojowa

8/10 Good

"Good room with small kitchen."

Radisson Blu Resort, Swinoujscie

8/10 Good

"We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel. My room was comfortable, spacious, and modernly decorated, with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. The hotel is in a great location. We appreciated the cleanliness and fantastic service. However, there were a few things we didn't like. It was chaotic and crowded at breakfast; it was hard to find an available table. The staff didn't seat guests or check for free tables. Hotel parking is expensive compared to other hotel parking lots in other cities. The stay included one hour of free access to the Aqua Park pools. This didn't bother us too much, though, as that amount of time was sufficient for us. The rooftop infinity pool was okay, but the water wasn't very warm. There was also a Jacuzzi, but it was always occupied, so we didn't get a chance to use it. Generally we recommend stay there."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Grussow?

The best area to stay in Grussow is directly within the village centre, particularly around the main street, Dorfstraße.

Grussow is a small, quiet village, and the area around Dorfstraße offers the most convenient access to local amenities and the serene countryside. This main street is where you'll find the village church and a few local guesthouses. The layout is very traditional for a rural German village, with houses and farms spread along the main thoroughfare and connecting lanes.

Couples looking for a peaceful escape will find the village centre ideal. It's superb for those who want to enjoy long walks or bike rides through the surrounding fields and forests, with the option to return to a comfortable, unhurried base. It's a great spot for simply relaxing and enjoying the natural surroundings.

For those planning to explore the Mecklenburg Lake District, staying in the village centre provides a practical and quiet base.

When is the best time to go to Grussow?

The best time to visit Grussow is during the late spring and summer months, from May to September.

This period offers the most pleasant weather, with warmer temperatures and more sunshine, which is ideal for enjoying the natural beauty of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The days are longer, allowing for extended outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and boating on the surrounding lakes.

For visitors who enjoy water sports or simply relaxing by the lake, July and August are particularly good months. The water temperatures are at their warmest, making swimming and other lake-based activities very enjoyable. Many local events and festivals also take place during these peak summer months.

If you prefer slightly cooler weather and fewer crowds, May, June, and September are excellent choices.
