"What a treat it was to stay in this delightful, beautiful castle! We hope to return one day. When we arrived, we were kindly greeted and given a parking garage. Then we walked a few minutes to get to the beautiful and vibrant village of Aiguèze. This chateau can host 20 people although we were only 6. The living/dining spaces, multiple balconies and bedrooms are very large and look just as they do in the photos. There are also many bathrooms. Everything is clean, comfortable and so charming. The pool area is great and the water is super refreshing especially on days where the temps are above 100 degrees fahrenheit. The kitchen has everything one needs for a large group and also includes a nice coffee maker. Aiguèze has 4 or 5 restaurants/cafés and boutiques (a limited number as this is a small village) as well as access to the Ardèche river. Things to note: there is no bakery or small supermarket in town, so it’s necessary to drive to get to these places. Also, the chateau is right next to the church and the bell tolls every hour and half hour from 7 am until night time. This can make it difficult to sleep in during morning hours. We absolutely loved our time here and would recommend it over and over again!"
