This hotel was a good place to stay. We were upgraded upon arrival to their larger accomodations. ( it was rainy season) If you are for all inclusives or not this is the hotel for you. If you like to venture out on your own, the staff is accomodating with info. They offer some of the local fare , but it is conviently located walking distance to many places , even the beach!
The food could be improved upon, but the staff were excellent and the room was great. It is in a good location with lots of great restaurants nearby so we ate out after the first day. We stayed at the Coco Palm.
Excellent location in the center of restaurants and bars. Walking distance to the beach. The back terrace and pool area is very pleasant. For breakfast many people came over from the larger and newer partner hotel(Coco Palms) for the ambiance and quiet. The Coco Palms was good for the larger pool, restaurant and bar which are a short walk away. The only problems were the noise from the bar at night and the lack of signs to find either hotel. Not a problem if you are with a tour group or taxi but a nuisance if you are in a rental alone. The internet in the lobby worked .
The Coco Kreole offers clean rooms and a friendly staff. My girlfriend and I were in a corner room facing the pool and really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the bed was huge and comfortable. Amenities included cable TV, a small refrigerator (which was great for stocking up on water, Piton beer, and other beverages), and our own air conditioning unit which worked very well. We most enjoyed having a balcony, and having drinks at Kreole's sister hotel, the Coco Palms, which is right next door, has the same owner, and allows you to enjoy their outdoor bar, large pool, and concierge. In addition, breakfast is served on the patio each morning by the pool. Fresh juices, coffee, banana bread, yogurt, bananas, cereal, and other treats are laid out for you to enjoy. This was a nice way to start the day and to meet other people in the hotel and pick their brains on where to eat, what to do, and get ideas for sight seeing off the beaten path. The Coco Kreole is peerless in its price range.
We stayed only one night at this hotel after a week sailing. Our friends stayed at the sister hotel next door. The staff at Coco Kreole was really friendly and accomodating. Our room had all the amenities- fridge, coffee pot, cd player- everything our friends had next door except the elevator. The place is small, well kept-up and friendly . Our week it was full of college students. Both the Kreole and it's more elegant sister next door have free internet access. A walk across the garden and you can hang out at the elegant sister hotel for more resort flavor and a restuarant .
Rooms are refurbished and comfortable. The price was great. The only issue was noise from the parties which were going on outside during the New Years "Jump Up" celebrations.
I have stayed here before, and will continue to do so. It is an excellent value, especially considering that you have use of all facilities, at their sister hotel next door. We prefered to use the more intimate small pool at the Kreole as the larger one next door drew the most people. It is well located near several restaraunts and bars. My only complaints are that they failed to mention the water is solar heated, and on cloudy days they need to turn on the auxillary heat. Not knowing this gave us a lukewarm shower one day. Had we called the front desk though, it would have been rectified immediatelly. Also the Friday night "Jump-Up" street party is close by and can be heard.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
charming and affordable
With a friendly, attentive staff, Coco Kreole proved to be a great value pick. Centered in the midst of Rodney Bays shops and restaurants, it is full of Carribean Charm. Ask for a romm facing the pool, as the streetside rooms can be noisy from evening festivities.
This is a very nice budget hotel in the downtown Rodney Bay areas. The pool view rooms are definitely better, and don't expect quiet on Weekend nights, as there is a lot of loud music in the area. The adjoining coco Palm's pool is yours to use and is very nice. The people are also very nice.
Honestly you cannot beat the experience for the price. The hotel staff are amazing, friendly and honest. They definetly go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. The dinner menu is great, the lunch is just average. The bartenders are always smiling and happy to assist you. I will definetly be back to coco palm/kreloe in the future. It definetly exceeded my expectations.
bon rapport qualité prix bonne situation pour commerces restaurants et plages ptit hic : personnel bruyant dans les couloirs (menage), picine également buyante (tonte de pelouse et karcher durant les matinées)
the hotel was very homely and the employees were very friendly and helpful with everything. the hotel is also located close to a mall complex and there's a variety of resturants near by.
For the price the hotel is excellent. You are getting what you pay for, but this is not a bad thing. Comes with a descent breakfast every morning, or you can go to the neighboring Coco Palm if you want to pay. You also have use of the neighboring pool which is a bit nicer as well as all their facilities. The only complaint is that the room walls are a bit thin and can hear your neighbors activities. But by saving your money on the hotel you have more opportunities to see the island. Anyway it's vacation, how much time do you need to spend in the hotel room.
Quaint small hotel. Clean, well kept, very friendly staff. Noisy, but not a problem. Small pool, bar was not open, however, Coco Palm Hotel is adjoining Kreole and are able to use their large pool and a great bar. Certainly would go back there again.
not overly extravagant but very adequate rooms, super staff and the use of the Coco Palm resort amenities makes this a great bargain for the vacation travellers who don;t want to break the bank.
Small hotel , like a home away from home, located smack dab in the middle of the action. Staff was friendly and very accomodating and well connected in regards to making things happen.Free continental breakfast on the veranda. Within walking distance to everything. Restaurant Ti Bananne at sister hotel, dining al fresco, it's beautiful and the food is great.
A small, personable hotel. I could not believe how friendly and helpful the staff was. My room was clean and comfortable with a/c and cable t.v. The perfect place if one wants to avoid huge hotels and get to know the local culture a bit.
Coco Kreole is a small hotel, that is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful, perhaps the nicest staff of any hotel I've stayed at. It's not a fancy place, but St Lucia is not a place where you want to stay in your room alot. Thre's a nice beach a short walk away, as well as many very good restaruants, a bank, and a small shopping mall, and a grocery store. Can't beat it for the price.
