"Interesting old hotel/farm setting. Old stone hotel building but in good condition. Arrived after dark a little before 8pm and the place was completely dark. Had a hard time finding a lobby for check in. Another guest helped us and we got someone (non-English speaking) to check us in. Our room on the third floor was modern and clean but small. "Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl! Das wusste ich nicht, und kam mit meinem großen Koffer (3 Wochen Reha als Rheumapatientin an). Böse Überraschung! Das Haus ist schön, das Bett wunderbar! Aber: leider war das Zimmer recht kalt (unter dem Dach, draußen -10°). Außerdem braucht die Dusche eine Grundreingiung. Das Frühstück war hervorragend! Alle Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich. Besonders vielen Dank an die Rezeptionsdame, die meinen Koffer hoch trug! Beim auschecken war keine/r da, also...

"Das Gebäude allein ist schon imposant. Man vermutet diesen Baustiel in dieser Gegend absolut nicht. Der Name prägt das Gebäude. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück ist nicht überschwänglich, dennoch ausreichend. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, leider ist die Rezeption nicht 24 Stunden besetzt. Alles in Allem, eine sehr gute Adresse."

"A comfortable and newly updated hotel. The owner was personable and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant holiday. They have an excellent breakfast that you shouldn’t skip. It was a fairly easy walk to the Market Square as well as all of the historic sights of Meißen. Also close to the train station for a day trip to Dresden and the Schloss Wackerbarth winery. "
