Set in the world famous Bernese Oberland, Grindelwald is the base for some of Europe's best walking trails and has become something of a hiking Mecca over the years. During the winter months with over 260 kms of slopes in the Jungfrau region you are spoilt for choice. The chalet is perfectly located in a very quiet private road just a 5-7 minutes walk from the railway station (Grindelwald Dorf) and the village center and the gondolas.
The apartment Shreckhorn with 86 m2 living area for (4-5 people) and 3.5 rooms (2 bedrooms) is located on the first floor. It's spacious and has a large south facing balcony with uninterrupted views of the Eiger North Face and the surrounding mountain world.
With modern furniture, fully equipped kitchen, internet (WiFi), SAT TV and a covered parking space in front of the chalet.
Included in the rate: cleaning at the end of your stay, linen, towels, kitchen towels, Internet, carport and side costs (heating, power, water). The only additional costs are the local tourist taxes.

Lovely apartment as part of a chalet. Amazing views, close to all amenities - warm and toasty, good facilities to store skis and equipment. Also for those who don’t ski. So a wonderful stay with such lovely views and easy hosts to deal with

The apartment in Grindelwald at the Jasmine Apartments was just right for our family. The location is easily accessible to the centre of Grindelwald yet still feels tucked away and private with amazing views. The apartment is clean and updated with all the amenities. I would come back again and hope I get to!
An ideal setting and base camp for exploration. Convenient to Grindelwald train station and a short (uphill) walk to downtown. Nestled in the mountains — every day we were struck by the views — with and without fog. The apartment had everything we needed. Laundry access was a bonus!
We stayed here as our base for hiking in the area. The home is very comfortable with everything you need to cook. Walking distance to lifts, trains, grocery store and town services/restaurants. Amazing view from balcony. When some showers broke out the mountainside filled with many waterfalls.
Property was very clean and had gorgeous Mountain views. The walk into town was short and the downtown had plenty of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed Grindelwald First, hiking, and Jungfraujoch.
This place was the best place we could have stayed in Grindelwald! The views were awesome, the supplied amenities were great, and having a parking spot was a good addition too. We had everything we needed to make all of our meals while there and the walk to the COOP supermarket took about 7 minutes. If you don’t have a car, the hill can be a little bit steep to the bus or train station but definitely doable with luggage. The balcony was the perfect place to unwind at night after a full day of exploring. There were patio chairs provided. Will definitely be staying here whenever we can afford to visit Grindelwald again!
We had a fantastic time in Grindelwald staying at Apartment Schreckhorn. The apartment is in a great location and it is easy to access ski lifts and the centre of Grindelwald. The unit is well equipped and comfortable. Check in and check out were seamless. The views are fantastic from the balcony and add to th experience.
The apartment is well located about 5 mins from the Main Street in Grindelwald. There is an amazing view of the Eiger from the veranda. The apartment is well equipped and cosy. A good base for a couple to explore the Grindelwald area
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well located apartment. The views were phenomenal, and we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace each morning. It’s convenient to the train and bus station, just be ready for a very steep walk (good practice for all the magnificent hiking nearby). Luckily there is also a closer bus stop, which was great as well to all the connecting gondolas, etc. Plenty of space for a family of 4.
We very much enjoyed our stay in Grindelwald for 5 nights in October. The views from this property are just beautiful and the location was very convenient to take in all the amenities available in Grindelwald. We particularly liked the close access to the train station. Thank you.

Property is well maintained, good location ( just a steep hill down from train to property but it’s close to train station) bathroom newly renovated, really nice, apartment is very comfortable and clean. Would stay again.
My family loved staying at this home. The home had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious and the deck was a perfect place to sit back and look at the Eiger. The location was perfect for getting to the train, buses and walking into town. Christine was helpful and prompt to respond to any questions and left a very thorough guest book.

Very clean, modern, well-equiped and comfortable apartment in a great central location. It was my son's first visit to Switzerland and he was absolutely amazed by the views from the balcony - WOW! We loved our stay and we were very sad to leave such an idyllic location. We've started saving for our next visit! Thankyou so much.
Hiking holiday for 4 nights in July, with family. Somehow the view was even better than the pictures! We greatly appreciated the small touches (games to play in the cabinet, toys/stuffies for little kids, well-stocked kitchen that already had supplies like olive oil, salt, spices, etc). Coop market just up the hill made it easy to cook and save some money on restaurants.

Family vacation turns out perfectly. Home is located within minutes away from the main road, train and bus terminal. Panoramic view from the living room, kitchen and balcony is worth a million. The house is clean with complete amenities provided and more. Exceeded my expectations
Stayed at this property for 5 nights. As everyone says, the view from the balcony is the reason to choose this 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment. So great to start your day sipping coffee and looking out on the Grindelwald Valley. Waterfalls appear following a rain! Well stocked kitchen made cooking easy. Take advantage of the bus stop just down the street to avoid the hike up the hill to the Main Street and train terminal in Grindelwald. Christine made the process so easy and simple. Great property for a couple or small family.
Beautiful apartment in a great chalet building, less than 10mins walk from Grindelwald train station. Epic views of the mountains from the large balcony, it was hard to stop looking out of the windows. The apartment was very well equipped and decorated. Lovely bathroom with a great shower. Cosy living space, perfect for relaxing after a long day’s hiking.
Comfortable, efficient and absolute stunning views
Very comfortable, well-appointed and amazing views with and without clouds. Wonderful communication with owners who provided very useful information. Walk from the train station is relatively steep, so if you have any mobility issues I would recommend a taxi. We had a wonderful time with a spectrum of weather (rain, clouds and sunshine) Will definitely rent again should we be so lucky to be in the area
