Location

Villa Vallon sits in the prestigious, gated Beauvallon estate, a wooded enclave of century-old stone pines on the shores of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. The sandy Beauvallon beach, with its lovely view across the water to Saint-Tropez and its citadel, is around a 15-minute walk away, and the 18-hole Beauvallon golf course lies right alongside the estate. Sainte-Maxime, with its lively seafront, shops and restaurants, is about ten minutes by car.

Saint-Tropez itself sits across the gulf, a short drive around the bay or a seasonal ferry ride from nearby Sainte-Maxime, with its famous harbour, boutiques and old town waiting on the far side. Closer to home, the canal town of Port Grimaud, the so-called Venice of Provence, is a charming place to wander among the waterways and moored boats, while the medieval hilltop village of Grimaud, crowned by its 11th-century castle ruins, rewards a stroll through cobbled lanes and flower-filled squares. The beaches, coves and villages of the Saint-Tropez peninsula are all within easy reach for day trips.
