However, the bathroom let the room down, it was mouldy in places and generally smelled damp - it simply needs a good bleach and scrub! The hotel itself was dusty everywhere, perhaps a hazard of the volcanic area, but it didn’t inspire confidence on our arrival. "Our stay at Padma Resort Ubud was exceptional, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia. One of the biggest standouts was the food. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered probably the best diversity of cuisines I have experienced at any hotel in the world. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Fire & Feast experience, which included an incredible platter with five different proteins, sides, sauces, soup, salad, and gelato. There is also so much to do within the resort. We enjoyed the hike to the bamboo bridge, and the hotel offers numerous complimentary activities, including archery, golf, animal feeding, and fishing. The swimming pool and fitness center were also excellent, and I appreciated being able to maintain my daily exercise routine. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was kind, friendly, and hospitable, and we appreciated the welcome drinks upon arrival. The location is also convenient for exploring Ubud and the surrounding attractions. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and feel this resort deserves even more recognition. With stronger marketing, I think Padma Resort Ubud could easily become an even more well-known destination. We would absolutely stay here again."

Both the villas and the grounds are immaculate, the staff cannot do enough for you and we found the food at both breakfast and the restaurants really good. Theres plenty to keep you occupied with daily shuttles into Ubud, daily rice terrace walks, frequent yoga and a fully stocked gym."
