We visited Lo Scoiattolo for a week long ski trip. The hotel is wonderful, clean, modern, very comfortable and convenient for guests, and very relaxing. The hotel staff are fantastic, very responsive, thoughtful, and accommodating for guests to stay worry free! We hope to return again!

An excellent hotel next to the ski park.

The hotel respected all my expectation. The internal structure in wood gives you a sensation of heat and makes you feel good. The room is spacious and clean, the breakfast is rich and with good varieties, the staff is very kind and professional. The restaurant is good with excellent dishes. We also went to sauna which although is small is good. Since I skied, I had a private shuttles service from the hotel to the cable way. I hope to come back!

Just great

Gressoney is a gem. Stayed four nights in mid-December. Loved it. Very quiet before the season kicks off properly. Plenty of space in the restaurant and spa. Friendly, helpful staff everywhere at the hotel. Excellent shuttle service to Staffal and back. Enjoyed the half-board service. These sunny days in the snow on the mountain is such an energy boost!

The property is really beautiful but the services and owner were ridiculous. We booked the deluxe suite (with a sauna, bathtub, amazing Mountain View) but were not given our booked rooms due to double booking by the hotel which was unprofessional and greedy. In compensation we were first offered a junior suite which was a downgrade compared to our original booking as it only had the extra living space but no sauna, no bathtub and a very poor view from the bedroom. We then decided to go for a classic double room instead because of the better view. As there was no possibility of refund, we were offered compensation at dinner. Based on the massive downgrade and suffering on our part, we were only offered a €12 discount at dinner which was vastly lower than the difference in the prices for the two rooms. We had to make a great effort to explain that it was unfair and we deserved better service. Even after this, we were only discounted €26 which was still less than the difference between the prices of the two rooms. In any other hotels or restaurants in case of such a big blunder one would rightfully expect better compensation and humility from the owner accepting their fault and being apologetic about it. When in a different country, we felt that the owner took advantage of our helplessness and was absolutely shameless about the situation. I would recommend avoiding this unprofessional establishment where the owner behaved like such a cheapskate while speaking to us.

I had booked 5 days on the hotel, 4 star hotel. I was allocated a room, where I loooked into a 170 cm high wall, see photo. Claustrophobic. The room did not correspond to the photos based on which I had booked the hotel on Hotels.com. The hotel refused to compensate for the inadequate room. After a terrible night I was allocated a new room.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo albergo di montagna per 10 giorni e possiamo dire con tutto il cuore che è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa. La struttura è bella, immersa nella natura e curata con amore, ma il vero valore aggiunto sono le persone. Grazie Vali&Kasia Laura, la proprietaria, è stata impeccabile: gentile, attenta e sempre presente con il sorriso. Ma una menzione davvero speciale va a Bogdan, Daniel e Christos: tre persone straordinarie che ci hanno fatto sentire accolti, coccolati e parte di una grande famiglia. Bogdan, con la sua energia e disponibilità, Daniel, con la sua gentilezza e premura, e Christos, con il suo spirito positivo e autentico... ognuno di loro ci ha lasciato qualcosa nel cuore. Grazie a loro, questa vacanza è stata molto più bella di qualsiasi altra vissuta in passato. Se cercate un luogo dove sentirvi davvero bene, questo è il posto giusto.

Note positive: bella struttura, accogliente; camere piccole ma perfette; area relax spa gratuita e perfetta; bel paesaggio attorno; piste abbastanza vicine; personale gentilissimo. Note negative: cucina con piatti buoni da scovare nel menù, in generale non abbiamo apprezzato molto, ancor peggio in rapporto ai prezzi; il paese è desolato, però per chi vuole sciare va anche bene, ma nella desolazione c'è un bel campanile che suona ogni mezz'ora, che la prima notte non mi ha fatto dormire. Forse si sente di più nelle stanze che vi si affacciano. Per la struttura: nel 2022 la gente sa dove sapere l'ora, ditegli a quel parroco che, almeno di notte, può risparmiarvi il fascino delle campane. Una sacher secca può capitare, ma anche così alta vi fa fare brutta figura, costasse 2 euro....

Hotel situato nel piccolo centro. Parcheggio disponibile in struttura sia all'aperto (non moltissimo rispetto alle camere) che coperto. Di per se una buona struttura . Per essere un 4 stelle ci si aspetta almeno 1 bottiglia di acqua free in camera e una scelta migliore per quanto riguarda i cuscini. Sul letto ce ne sono presenti 2 per, peccato siano entrambi identici per durezza e spessore. Consiglierei un confort migliore.

Ottimo Hotel

Meravigliosa esperienza in questo hotel, lo staff é molto gentile e preparato, il ristorante é ottimo. La sera controllano se in camera é tutto apposto e ti lasciano due caramelle e le previsione meteo. Il giorno del mio compleanno ho trovato un biglietto di auguri e un piccolo dono, che dire, esperienza commovente.

Jamais déçu par cet hôtel dans lequel nous retournons presque chaque année. Confortable, charmant, pratique, personnel serviable, bonne restauration et petit-déjeuner buffet varié et copieux. La navette pour les remontées mécaniques est un plus.
