Perfect for a couples retreat or comfortably working away from home with stunning Lake Views. Enjoy open plan living and dining rooms with connected full kitchen; private queen bedroom; full office and a bath with walk-in shower. A large wrap-around deck with gas grill and lots of seating overlooks the lake. Parking for two vehicles. Five minutes from the Village of Greenwood Lake, 15 minutes from the Village of Warwick, and surrounded by recreation, food, shops, and more. On the NY/NJ bus line using the 196/197 NJTransit bus. We had a great short stay here! The place was clean and had everything we needed. The surrounding area was beautiful as well! Well-situated in the middle of many Hudson Valley attractions!

The place and location were nice. The queen bed itself was very comfortable although its position was a bit uncomfortable for one of two people sleeping in it because one side was pushed directly up against a wall forcing the person on that side to slide down toward the end of the bed instead of being able to comfortably leave on their side. Reading lamps on both sides of the bed would also be a good idea (We have that in our own rental in Hilton Head).The kitchen was very well equipped, and the living room was spacious and comfortable. The patio too, was great to lounge on especially nice evenings.

Ideal Location

We had a comfortable stay at this charming cabin. The location was perfect for us to visit family and friends in the area as well as our favorite apple orchards. We also appreciated the owners allowing our dog to be with us and for the special touches for our pet.

Greenwood lake

Property was fine, location was great. We visited with friends and family at the lake, Warwick and West Milford. Discovered a new restaurant D’Boathaus on the lake in NJ delicious and outside dining.

Relax and breathe

I would definitely stay at this cabin again. The furnishings are comfortable. The hosts have a great eye to detail. It’s really adorable and very clean. That’s important to me. Sitting on that porch was pretty close to heaven.I will be back.

Outstanding from the 1st message w/ Lucas and the property is exactly what I had hoped for! We all need to stop saying how great it is otherwise we won't be able to get another reservation!!! Lucas - Thank you for a terrific long weekend, hiking, Storm King, a long lunch at D'Boathaus, full moon down on the dock, naps on the lake, and evenings on the deck with the fire pit and crickets lulling us to sleep.

Great veiws from deck.Chimenea with no fire wood.Indoor pellet stove with no pellets no direction.No drinkable water.Incredible low pressure in shower. We had to take it apart and clean out the filter. There should be some type of water filtration system installed for showering and drinkable water.Confusing ac/heating remotes with no direction. Took us over an hour to figure out. Via Google. Shower could have been cleaner. For fresh air we were limited to 1/3 third of the windows being capable of openings.However , it was close to town for necessities and dining. Murphy's tavern was the best , along with pop's bagels.We rented a pontoon boat had a spectacular time on it! Greenwood lake rentals. Fair price

It's the Small Things

My husband and I loved our 5-day stay at this peaceful cabin along Greenwood Lake. The owners have taken great care to add little touches to make the cabin feel like home. From the customized coasters, to the thoughtful information binder, to the tea collection and coffee syrups, it's clear the owners really care about their property and giving guests the best experience. The furnishings were comfy and anything we needed to cook with was already there. Although we didn't bring our dogs along on this trip, having stayed in a few other "dog-friendly" rentals, this was one of the most welcoming canine setups I've seen, with couch covers and dog bowls waiting for you, and even a dog bed, as well as instructions on areas to walk your dog and info on dog-friendly excursions. The property sits on a main road, so there is some traffic noise from the street below on the deck and in the living room. However, we found the noise wasn't audible from the bedroom and the convenience of being on a main road far outweighed listening to the traffic. I would definitely recommend this property, and we'll be back soon!

The cabin was perfect for our anniversary getaway. We did have a couple of instances where the water shut off but the host was very responsive and came over pretty quickly to troubleshoot the issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
