"We enjoyed the cottage as it had everything we needed to prepare meals including pots and pans, spices, a lovely kitchen, towels and linens, shampoo and body wash in the shower. We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again!"

"Nick and Ariel have a very special place. Their property is a quintessential lakeside camp with everything you need for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the area. The cottage was very clean, had comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen and outdoor grills. We especially loved the screen porch at night and the easy access to Highland Lake. Allison the host had provided just about anything you could think of that you would need, from snacks to frosted mugs in the freezer. "The property is beautiful. The location on the lake couldn't be beat. The hosts are extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. I gave the property a 4 because we couldn't open the windows(also no screens in the windows) in the main part of the cabin and on hot summer days and nights the inside was very uncomfortable. The bedrooms have ceing fans but nothing in the main cabin. Luckily we brough our own but it still didn't cool the cabin enough. Being somewhat picky it would have been nice...

"This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp."

"We only had a very brief stay, alas, but made the most of the opportunity as best we could. A few updates are needed with the introductory welcome materials and equipment information that will be easy but useful to correct. Glad we had a chance to pause in western Maine, with a view of close mountains and the distant Presidential Range in NH.
