True Maine Cabin
We came to Maine to enjoy nature and stay in a cabin. We were not disappointed in our stay in the authentic cabin. Upon arrival we filled the bird feeders and hummingbird feeders and watched the birds and hummers arrive. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. The walk in the forest to view the pond was amazing and the view once we arrived at the pond was gorgeous! The craftsmanship of the cabin and furniture is well worth the stay. We never saw a moose but the memories we made at the authenticate cabin will last a lifetime!

Spectacular site and stay
When we reached the house, we could not believe our eyes. It was like walking into a woodland wonderland! Everything from the quaint cottage, to the charming brook, as well as the picturesque private path to the pond. We had a fantastic time with the kayaks, and swimming through the beautiful waters. We felt perfectly at home. This place was a perfect combination of reclusiveness, and comfortable driving distance to Greenville. All in all, this house was not lacking anything. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel to Maine.

Excellent stay
We truly enjoyed the stay at the cabin. The property is just the right balance of being close to the town but at the same time being drawn into nature. The pond, trails, brooks and the overall experience in the cabin and outside it fantastic. We loved the tasteful decor, the love for nature through the bird feeders, showers outside, and the small seating benches. The kitchen, bedrooms were very clean. Vacassa was very responsive. At the same time Greenville is beautiful. Very nice stores such as the Books and Gifts, Northeast tours, and Kamp Kamp. The resturants have good food (Dockside, Kelly's landing, Jamieson's pizza). We hiked up Mt. Kineo, took the Katahdin Cruise, and drove around Moosehead lake to Lily Bay State Park. Enjoyable vacation !! Thanks

Cabin in the woods
This was a great place to rest and relax, surrounded by nature. The sound of the brook would lull you to sleep at night. The variety of birds that came to the bird feeder outdide the window were impressive.

Pleasant
Beautiful home however wasn't impressed with the shower. And the boys room with twin beds was very uncomfortable, springs were showing and they barely slept. And maybe have fresh scents had a order. Property was amazing and it was fun hiking to the water. Also had a lot of big black ants crawling around the living room.

Cabin in the Woods
This house is magical. ✨ There’s a brook on the property and a little bridge that leads to marked trails towards private fishing and kayaking. The house is rustic but modern enough and has a nice kitchen to enjoy some homemade meals. The property, though isolated, is a quick five minute drive into the town of Greenville which is adorable. Lily Bay State Park is 15 minutes from the house and has a wonderful sandy beach where you can swim and enjoy the majesty of Moosehead Lake. If you want the authentic Maine experience, this is it! We’d love to go back sometime soon.

Did I enjoy my time? Yes. Would I recommend or rent again? No.
We had an amazing weekend, however there are some things I wish I had known. First, the only bathroom is on the second floor. Luckily my disabled mother did not end up staying home, but it would have been disastrous if she had come as planned. We had a few mouse friends visit, which we didn’t mind but some might. The stairs are very scary to use, especially if you have bigger people in the party. They move down under the weight and do not feel safe. There were many fragile feeling items in our trip. The rocking chair, the kitchen table’s chairs, and an upstairs bed were all flimsy. As mentioned: not good for slightly larger adults. A slat in the bed let loose on us when we first sat in the bed. The floors have gaps that you can see through to the first floor. The back door has to be locked using a wooden stick wedged between the doors and the kitchen island. I must have tripped on this 25 times. The unfinished floors gave one of our visitors a splinter. In the winter, the bedrooms are freezing unless you leave the door open. The kitchen is also cold due to the only heater being in the vaulted-ceiling living room. Also, the water takes forever to get warm, and the shower was a bit cooler than I want. It’s an authentic Maine camp experience, I just expect better I guess. All of this said, there were some really amazing aspects of our trip. The property is magical. The trails are beautiful, the birds are abundant, the wildlife is active, and the home is cozy. We made amazing memories here. You could see kiddos has made snow forts and there was plenty to do inside. I enjoyed the books available all over the cabin. I got lost for hours in them. The lack of TV was much needed for quality time together. We played games and hiked and shared stories in the charming living room. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere while being 10min to the store. It’s so quiet and peaceful my ears rang. It was amazing.

Great Holiday Getaway!
This is a lovely cabin on a beautiful property. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need for cooking. It also had very comfortable beds and lots of clean good quality towels. The roads and well marked trails were great for walking and snowshoeing. Birdwatching from the big window in the living room was an added bonus. Only one caveat: the bathroom and two of the bedrooms are on the second floor via a spiral staircase that could be a problem for anyone with even mild mobility issues. Overall a great experience. We would definitely return.--

Amazing property
Loved everything about the cabin, the nature trail, and the location. Such a relaxing short getaway. The only drawback is on the management company. We have stayed at other cabins in the area with the same take away. It starts with the envelope for tips to the list of ‘rules’. Ending with having to haul your trash out (After leaving a tip) to a location where it was not obvious where to leave it. (Having stayed with them before, these are not COVID rules)

It was very nice inside and outside. Equipped with all you will need. Not far from Greenville Ctr. Due to Covid19 everything was good. Wished there had been a small bathroom downstairs. But it was really nice and country inside. Thanks for a Great time.

Hard to find but worth it
The property was very hard to find with the directions given but once found it was phenomenal! Secluded, quiet, relaxing, and at the same time modern with WiFi and speakers with blue tooth. The sound of the small river was so relaxing and the giant window was great to sip coffee in front of.

First time there. PLANNING OUR NEXT!!!!
Everything and anything you can think of was provided in the cabin. We didn't think about everything still being frozen. We hiked in the snow through the well marked trails out the back door. It was perfect to me and my 2 children:) we are already planning our next visit when it's warmer and in peak season!!!

Needed get away
We were able to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet in this log cabin. The cabin was like a home away from home and felt like we were part of the family we really enjoyed ourselves would rent again although a little warmer time of year. But overall we were very happy and would recommend to anyone .....
