There is a cardinal nest right in front of the porch and I watched them and the sunrise/sunset from the porch. It was perfect."

"The outside of the hotel looks a bit old so I was worried upon my arrival how the rooms would look. But the rooms looked great! The pool is outside so it can get cold later at night. The breakfast was decent but limited options, however for the price you pay and the convenient location it is a great option. The staff is always at the desk and was polite. "

"Wonderful peaceful retreat! We enjoyed a well-crafted libation & delicious evening meal at GloryRidge Tavern. Accommodations are spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Sleeping arrangements & bath are similar to a high-end hotel. We spent some quiet-time relaxing on the deck. The only thing 'missing' was an outdoor fire pit. We will return again soon for another visit to history."

"Fantastisk skøn beliggenhed i bjergene (skiresort om vinteren og golfresort) om sommeren. Vi brugte hotellet som oase i forbindelse med et besøg i Gettysburg som varmt kan anbefales. Der er dejligt fredfyldt og naturskønt. Personalet er meget venligt og imødekommende. Poolen var kølig, men som man siger: det var skønt når først man var i."

Great MCM vintage feel and extremely comfortable

"Pros- I loved the vintage charm. Staff was wonderfully welcoming and very friendly. Bed was super comfortable. This place is older, think MCM knotty pine and furniture. I loved it. Con’s (or not depending on your needs)- My room looked a bit dim and worn but was very clean and comfy. I was using GPS and the sign wasn’t obvious and came quicker than expected so I drove by and had to re rout the first time. I was here 3 nights and would stay again. If you need a great night sleep at a reasonable price this is a great vintage place. If you need newer and amenities you likely will be better off at a different place."
