"This was a great house! It was clean, had a good kitchen, large deck and big backyard. We were able to have my son’s friends and some family come over for a gathering out on the back deck/yard. It worked perfectly. It is also right across from a large park. We didn’t have little kids but the park would’ve been great for that. We enjoyed walking around it! Cute little breakfast/lunch cafe within walking distance. Highly recommended!"

"Great property and great hosts. It was too cold to use the kayaks, but we did use the bikes, which were a nice amenity. The complimentary ride in the Model T was also a nice treat. One note on the bikes - one of the bikes is small so might want to take that into consideration if you are much over 5' and are looking to ride many miles."

It wasn’t a fancy, new home but it made up for it with lots of special touches: a bottle of wine, snacks, bottled water and creamer in the fridge, toys and dishes for the dog, plenty of towels and toilet paper and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this home. The owner was very responsive."

"The view out the front window was beautiful. But the internet was almost nonexistent at night so the smart tv didn’t work either and I couldn’t get work done on my computer. The front door screen was torn when we got there and the coffee carafe broke as I was filling it with water. The bed was comfortable and we slept great!"

"We traveled to ride the Trail of the Coeur d'Alene. The house was a little out of the way but an easy drive to the Plummer Trailhead. It was comfortable and had a beautiful view of Cave Bay. The public beach was farther than we thought and was a fifteen minute walk. I think you would need to drive with beach gear and noticed that many residents have golf carts to get around. Property manager was responsive. We very much enjoyed our stay."

"The Bee Hive was a warm and welcoming home. It was very clean and well appointed. The owners/managers gave a lot of thought to details that made our staff comfortable and convenient. The photos are an accurate representation of the adorable cottage. It has a beautiful back yard with covered outdoor seating that made it great if you have a pup to bring along."

"I would not stay in this cottage agin but like to try the one further away from the highway. bad nois. this cottage had a terrible shower. leaking watr heater. and was in need of a new washer dryer. dryer would not shut off and wash machine was very noisy. Ver nice area though wit easy access."

"We chose to rent locally for a Christmas getaway. This home struck us primarily for the view "which was magnificant". But everything else exceeded any expectations we may have had. Eagle watching/photographing was incredible. Our family loved utilizing the couch that comes together in a cube for a movie night. Ammeneties were everything we we needed (even to pull off a Christmas dinner). And the hosts were excellent. (Thank you for sharing your home). We hope to come stay again."

"We enjoyed our time at Midtown Outpost. We came to town to visit family and found the house to be quite adequate for our stay. We enjoy cooking…the house was well stocked with kitchen supplies and allowed us to prepare meals and visit with family members in the front room. The location was great and allowed us to visit with several family households throughout CDA and access the area of attractions. The house was older, but nicely updated. Thank you for a great stay!"

"It is a cute place to stay walking distance to the beach -Sanders Cove, to hikes on Tubbs Hill, to downtown dining and to concert at the park just 3 blocks or less on Wednesdays from 5-8pm."
