"Property was better than described. I loved the location, right by the lake in a peaceful area and close enough to Port Clinton, Sandusky, Marblehead and Catawba. We were mostly there for fishing and had a great time with a lot of fish caught. "Jeff and his wife were great hosts, and always available for any questions we might have. Had so many games around it’s impossible to get bored staying there. Our friends rented out the house connected to the back yard and it was perfect place to share with (friends or family). Loved it!! He even reached out to me when I forgot my camera charger and battery and offered to mail it!! So kind!"

"There were some hiccups with the cleaning people, which delayed the cottage being cleaned before we arrived. The property owner responded fairly quickly but the property wasn’t ready for us until after 9:00 pm. There were a few maintenance issues (outside window pane broken, bathroom mirror lights inoperable, loose toilet seat, and a nearly full outdoor trash container with the remnants of cleaned fish). But nothing that we couldn’t live with. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"We were a bit nervous based on some previous reviews but we will definitely be coming back here when we visit Cedar Point! The room was nice and the bed was comfy. It had a microwave and a pretty large mini fridge. The shower was fantastic, honestly better than the one we have at home, it got really hot and had great water pressure. We appreciated that the bathroom has a fan, most hotels or motels don't and they really should. Plenty of towels and the shower has a shampoo conditioning wash and body wash attached to the wall which was nice. The pool looked very clean but unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy it. My favorite part of the stay was the staff. The ladies working the breakfast area we're so sweet and helped start our days on a positive note, even going so far as to hold open the door while we had our hands full of food. They had a selection of muffins, yogurt, bagels, fruit and you can even make your own pancakes! Their is also juice and coffee. Housekeeping was also very sweet. We were offered fresh towels when we declined having the whole room cleaned and anyone you passed said hello and was very friendly. I highly recommend this Super 8! "
