"The hotel is beautiful and situated in a lovely place for walking. It was also possible to walk down to the fjord. Transport via bus was excellent from nearby the hotel into Stavanger centre which was good as there are not many dining or local shopping opportunities in the area. A shame the bar at the hotel only accepted card payments - no cash option."

A very enjoyable event accompanied by traditional music (a visiting Scottish band), bagpipes, whisky, haggis and poetry. "We got our key card after getting help from someone staying there as she was walking out the door. Then we had a very hard time getting the door to our room open. The room was adequate but nothing to make it special. We felt like we were staying at the big hotel in the movie “The Shining”. There was nobody around and not a sound. Kind of creepy."

"The biggest problem was the communication with the owner of appartments. They mentioned a whattsapp number for any question or issues while they have not checked it for a couple of dats at all. Also, I have contacted this number oit of whatsapp due to the popr internet coonnection and they did not answered it at all. The bed in the second floor in our room has been built in a non professional way and was not accessible in an easy way. There was a long electricity wire on the top of the stairs...
