"Clean room, calm, cosy, nice bathroom, owners are really nice people"

"L’hébergement était parfait. L’accès piscine a même pas une minute incroyable. Je recommande totalement pour un moment détente lors d’un week-end prolongé pendant les fortes chaleurs qu’on connaît tous."

"Excellent host!"

"We loved our stay at Effect Lodge. Our room overlooked the back side of the property, including the pool. Great views and an open feel in our large room. The host was so gracious and helpful. She recommended public transportation for our visit to Old Lyon, and it worked out perfectly. She also provided direction in getting our laundry taken care of. In many ways, staying at Effect felt like being at home. Highly recommend this property!"

"Absolutely incredible stay. The property is stunning. Beautiful and comfortable room and relaxing atmosphere. Owners are very kind. Great for families. "

"Fleksible med ankomsttid og meget hjælpsomme."

"Attention L'hôte mentionnne sur le site que le petit dejeuner est offert Il n'en est rien on vous demandera un supplément de 15€ pour y avoir droit ,une fois que vous aurez réservé. Pas correct du tout ,il faut au moins enlever la mention " petit déjeuner offert " sur l'annonce "

"Very good experience. A warm welcome + parking slot in the street, individual rooms and separated toilets+bathroom… all included in a well refurbished house…. Breakfast is nice with the possibility to speak with other guests…. I will for sure come back if this is possible "

"Tout est très propre et entretenu .Le couchage parfait, de bonne qualité. Le service du petit déjeuner très complet. Quand à la maîtresse de maison, elle est très accueillante, gentille et de bons conseils. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end. "

"Really quirky place . Well worth visiting. "

"Excellent host, great location.Very friendly and would tell our friends about our stay. "

"Very small bathroom without heating"

"Overall, I had a good experience staying at this hotel. The location was convenient, and the room was comfortable. The staff were helpful, and the facilities were decent."

"We had a fantastic stay at this place. The owners were really welcoming and the place was calm and quiet with a nice atmosphere. The highlights were the 5 course dinners and breakfasts in the garden. "

"The owners of the property were very welcoming, but unfortunately our French is limited, so we didn’t have too much interaction with them. Breakfast was good (croissants, yogurt, cereal, bread, some meat and jams with juice and coffee). The furnishings in the room were high quality but it would have been nice to have a fridge, coffee machine and some glasses. I would have expected the room to have been refreshed during our stay (of course not linen or towels). During our 2 night stay there was...

"One of the best stays in France I had. Superb building with super friendly host and awesome breakfast. Highly recommend!"

"‘This is not a hotel’ is the first thing the hostess told us when she first called. The villa indeed is their own home and this is made very clear during our stay. The hostess treated our kids as a strict schoolteacher and to top it all off at the end of the evening also yelled upstairs that we were playing with the heating, which we were not. In the Summer this place might be nicer with the outside pool but in the winter this would not be suitable for a family vacation. Price and quality do...

"Fantastisk oas med en härlig trädgård (närmare park) samt pool."
