There were 10 of us staying in the house, and it was absolutely perfect for a large group, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves\.The location is fantastic — right on the beach, with everything at Kingfisher Bay Resort within easy walking distance\. We actually didn’t go out for a meal once during our stay because the house had everything we needed to cook, eat and spend time together\.The house was spacious, comfortable and in a beautiful location\. Being able to walk straight out to the beach was a real highlight\.We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend Ocean Retreat to families or groups looking for somewhere special to stay on K’gari\.Thanks again, Pete, for a fantastic stay\. We’ll definitely be back\!"

"Location and amenities were fantastic. Being able to see the ocean and horizon was so amazing So great having so many rooms. Bit tough to ensure we had enough bedding for all the beds :| We loved it, the shower and little bath were incredible. So good to have a laundry. Really easy check in. Only thing worth mentioning is that there wasnt really any decent sized fry pans and the inside table is fairly tacky, likely from years of use and salty air."
