"We stayed at Samantha's cozy cabin with my husband and our dog while visiting family in Broadalbin, and we absolutely loved it! The cabin was spotless, warm, and so inviting- even with freezing temperatures outside. You can really tell how much thought and care went into making the space feel special.The fully fenced yard was a huge plus for traveling with our dog and made the stay even more relaxing.It was the perfect couple's getaway. "We had a great stay and would highly recommend it to others. The cabin was cozy and clean and had a wonderful view of the lake. The firepit was perfect for our nightly bonfires and plenty of wood was provided. The deck was spacious and we loved having our meals overlooking the lake. We used the kayacks provided and fished off the docks. The sunsets were beautiful, what a view. We can't say enough nice things about Henry and Leigh, they were gracious hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend all who want a simple getaway. "

"The description and pictures on the listing unfortunately did not match what we encountered. The house appeared clean, beds were comfortable, however that is where the good ends. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with overflowing and stinky trash cans from the previous guests right near the front door. Flies and bees swarming. The host said they would come pick up the trash but it remained throughout our entire stay. The back yard was nothing like the pictures; overgrown, weeds covering the fire pit, half the chairs. The description mentioned a 10 minute walk to the beach; it was a minimum of 25 minutes, on a highly used road with no sidewalks. And it is public and charges per vehicle. The foosball table was broken and a mouse ran through the kitchen while we were cooking dinner. Overall, my family and I were disappointed, and absolutely wished we had found another property. "
