"The location was very "rural" which is okay. However, some neighboring properties were very "rundown" with "junk" in the front and backyards. This property was large and beautiful. The upgrades the hosts made on the interior were very nice for a modular home. The property was not fenced on the road side so there was some concern about security. The back porch area was relaxing but the neighbor to the northeast appeared to be running a garage and revved a high rpm motor repeatedly for most of the time we could have relaxed after a long day of work. Of course the host could not be responsible for that but during the day, the area is not "peaceful". It started to rain and the cover over the back porch leaked at all of the seams. That will be an easy fix. Many neighbors had fences with dogs but some left the gates open or had gaps under so it was not a neighborhood to go for a walk. At night, the area was so peaceful with absolutely no noise so that was very nice! The steps up to the front porch were 'okay' but not handicap accessible, just as a note. Overall, the property met our needs for a place to stay while in the area on business."

"The house was extremely clean. Neighborhood was very quiet. Communication with owner was very easy and efficient. There was everything you needed for kitchen utensils, only thing could have used was baking sheets. I would definately stay again. "

"This house had everything we needed and plenty of room. Attractions were close by which was a plus. Also we enjoyed using the heated pool. Would definitely rent this house again. "

"The host was difficult to reach by phone. The issue was a smoke alarm that went off for 24 hrs before finally the fire dept found the problem. We were not offered any type of compensation for having to listen to it for 24 hrs straight .A shout out to the young lady that was a major help. I believe she worked for the owner."

"We had a wonderful stay at this lake retreat! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The pool and hot tub were a huge highlight and well maintained, making it perfect for relaxing after a day out. The space was thoughtfully set up, cozy, and great for unwinding. The host was responsive and welcoming, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway."

"What a magnificent cottage! Everything you can possibly need is made available by these excellent hosts. Greg was fantastic during check in, and he gave me a quick tour of the property. The room is neat, tidy, and well appointed with a full kitchen plus a table for four. The sofa seating area is comfortable and nice for watching television or enjoying a conversation over tea. The Murphy bed was a fun extra but it was also very comfortable. The setting is serene, peaceful, and quiet. Easy access to local amenities and restaurants."
