"Comfort Stay Hotel we had booked is being renovated and is closed. We were booked into different 2 or 3 star hotel (Tina’s Apartments) which doesn’t have the amenities of Comfort Stay. Didn’t get what we paid for and no notice was provided to us beforehand. Big hole in bathroom floor in front of sink that smelled like sewage and was a safety hazard. TERRIBLE breakfast. Another guest was attacked by 5 dogs when walking to nearby store and needed medical treatment. Expedia provided small refund upon complaint."

"First off the employees at the hotel are friendly and willing to answer all questions and eagerly help with anything they can. This includes the shuttlebus driver, receptionist and the hotels restaurant wait staff. The price for the room was great, I would have expected to pay more upon arriving. However, it is 25 minutes from the airport and I have to say if you are flying out of Athens be there 3 hours in advance, it is a zoo. The room was clean and fresh. Only problem noted was trying to get the AC on the right temperature setting which I was eventually able to do. The location is right across the street from the Aegean Sea with a great beach one block away. The area consists of numerous fresh fish markets and a great variety of Restaurants within 3 blocks from hotel. If and when we return to Athens I will not hesitate to book this hotel."

"Nice view on 10th floor restaurant to Acropolis all days and nights! Staffs are courteous and friendly; room is spacious and clean, Breakfast is excellent with fresh ingredients and many choices; The hotel location is excellent located right in the heart of the city center and walking distance to all popular tourist attractions such as Plaka, Parliament buildings, Acropolis, Syntagma square and metro station; just be aware of the pick pocket team on the metro train, we were almost got stolen by them on the metro train, they were jamming the train exist door and somehow made the door appeared to be broken (door was made open and close, back and forth)!!"

"Booked for a night as we transited between Heraklion, Athens and Singapore. Everything went smoothly and we got clear concise instructions on how to access our room as there is no onsite reception. Room was very spacious which is always a plus when you have 4 people with lots of luggage. Shuttle was efficient. Would highly recommend."
