Hillside Gem

Wonderful hotel perched up on a hillside with a gorgeous view of the town. Extremely comfortable and spacious rooms. Huge pool and smaller jacuzzi. The extensive dinner buffet for 20 Euros was delicious. Relaxing garden area with lounge chairs and peacocks. Loved it all.

Lovely hotel with amazing views

Great value hotel with a lovely pool and nice balconies. Very quiet at night even when busy on Saturday night. Good food breakfast and evening. Also a great restaurant just outside called Mesón los Alamillos that is also worth a visit. We asked for a safe key and a kettle for our stay, the only thing we would have liked is some coffee for the room.

This hotel is in a stunning location 10 minutes outside Grazelema. We rented a car to tour and hike in the area, and the hotel is well located. The pool is lovely and views from the hotel are spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room opening onto the garden - it was simple but absolutely adequate. A large buffet breakfast is included in the room price. A la carte dining is available throughout the day and evening, and there is a buffet option for dinner as well. We found this to be a plus as it gave us the option to dine in after a day of hiking.

It’s a lovely hotel, nice room , comfortable bed, pool is fantastic but you’re brave to get in it, it’s so cold but hot tub always full. I think they need more staff , poor guy in pool bar was non stop and we found some staff, let’s say a little unfriendly / not interested but the lady on reception was lovely and made us feel welcome though ! Presume the view from the room is deliberately blocked by huge trees real shame as the view is amazing. We paid for the meal option although there is a restaurant 50m up the road so it’s a chance you take. Did not realise it was a buffet when we booked but overall both that meal and the breakfast were good and substantial Shower was poor , head needs cleaning it sounded like a mouse being strangled. All in all good hotel

Enjoyed our stay here. Staff helpful by booking a taxi for us. Views are to die for. It’s out of town and an hour’s walk into Grazalema. Food was great -buffet at breakfast and dinner. Delicious.

Buffet beim Frühstück und Abendessen hatte eine sehr große Auswahl, auch mit Kennzeichnung von Allergenen wie z.b. Glutenfrei oder Laktosefrei. Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Hotel liegt abseits von Ortschaften, wodurch man gut am Pool entspannen kann.

Erster Eindruck bei Ankunft unter der Woche war sehr gut. Ab Freitag war es leider anders. Über die Sommermonate kommen über das Wochenende sehr viele spanische Familien mit Kindern, wodurch das Essen am Buffet eher einer Schlacht gleicht. Eine Unterhaltung während des Essens war unmöglich aufgrund des Geräuschpegels. Genauso laut war es auch nachts bis ca. 0 Uhr, da es die Eltern nicht interessiert, was die Kinder machen. Also wenn dieses Hotel, dann nur unter der Woche.

Fyra nätter i Grazalema

Personalen gav oss mycket bra service. Det gäller städning, reception och inte minst personalen som hade hand om restaurang och bar. Det finns gott om fri parkering på området. Rummet (dubbelrum med utsikt över bergen) fungerade bra och hade en trevlig balkong. Jag vill verkligen rekommendera att man äter buffé i hotellets restaurang på kvällen. Enda nackdelen med hela vistelsen var att det på kvällarna blev högljutt i restaurangen. Omgivningarna är fantastiska och jag skulle gärna komma tillbaka.
