A delightful and very homey establishment. This location is remote and there are not a lot of dining choices but the pizza joint on the premises is pretty good. Some rooms also have kitchenettes and with the supermarket next door its great for families. Also has laundry facilities. The location is a bit of a hike from the city of Graz but if you have transport then its a great place to stay. We were here for the F1 Grand Prix and thank goodness we could organise transfers as public transport is limited and would take a while to get to town. I loved this little hotel.

The staff was amazing. The room was clean and in great condition. The only issue was that the elevator wasn't working that day, but it wasn't a big issue for us.

Great night here had washers driers and an iron. After the barren wasteland of laundries in Italy was great. Only one thing could you do 2 pillows and a littlr firmer.

Excellent hotel in nowhere
Excellent very comfortable hotel in nowhere. The only one problem - too far to any place - Graz or highway. Good local restaurants in about 6-7 min of driving. Graz center - 20 min. The room is big, modern, comfortable and clean.

Mainly good but needs a little attention to detail
Hotel is lovely, clean and funky, comfy beds, good powerful shower. We were there for the F1 weekend. A couple of things we weren’t so impressed by. 1. Hotel is very remote from any life, especially at night. It’s a 20 Euro taxi ride into Graz, there are no bars or places to socialise in the area so we thought it was pretty poor really that the bar closes at 10:30pm. 2. The breakfast is shockingly bad. And it doesn’t get re-stocked very frequently. We were there around 9:00 am and there were no pastries, there was only 1 type of bread left which was wholemeal with seeds which neither of us like, and we were not told it’s chargeable we thought it was included so we had a bit of a surprise that it was added to our bill when we checked out. 3. We ordered food from the restaurant one night, it’s An Italian menu, my other half ordered lasagne which was still frozen in the middle, we asked the waitress to change it, it was reheated and presented to us again but was still cold. He just left it. 4. There is only 1 chair on the balcony of a double room and 1 cup to drink from. We just feel the hotel could be so much better but we would stay at a different Harry’s home hotel in the future again in a more populated area.

odd but functional
This quirky place has all the basics but not where you might expect. Our room was laid out in an odd way, with the tv in the middle of the room which can rotate. So you could either watch from the bed or the living area (one chair, tiny coffee table) but not both. The desk didn't have a chair. The "bedroom" was separated from the "living room" by a small vanity (on which the tv sat) making the bed accessible only from one side. For a short stay with a 2 or less people it is a workable place but i would not suggest it otherwise.

I was amazed on how big the rooms were and the excellent service. Also it is so close to Graz airport and Graz city. You can have a kitchen with a grocery store right across the street.

We want harry's all over the world!
Simply amazing. You have a supermarket across, parc, gas, food, parking. If you have a car it's perfect to drive to Graz in 15-20 minutes and there are local restaurants around. The hotel is clean and the staff is amazing. There is a washing machines available on the 1st floor. We had a double strollers, two babies and two lugages, we had a triple room and they offers for free a suite with kitchenette. It was perfect and very nice from them. We wish we would've stayed there longer!

Perfect for a business trip
Perfect for business trip. Very clean and comfortable rooms with excellent in room facilities. My room had a brilliant kitchenette and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. Recommended!!

A terrific bargain for superb accommodation.
Don't let the odd name put you off! Being a busy New Year weekend, it was difficult to find accommodation close to the airport for an early morning departure. Hotels.com listed Harry's Home Hotel as the closest at 8km or 20 minutes away by car. This hotel exceeds all expectations in terms of modernity, cleanliness, comfort and convenience - free WiFi and a small kitchen too. At 73 Euros per night for 3 persons, it was a phenomenal bargain. It is a bit difficult to find but GPS had us on the right course - just watch for the tricky access from the road because signage is not all that obvious. Check-in is also a little strange because you need to pick up a phone at the desk to call for service. However, the service is good and very efficient. The area is very quiet in a rural setting yet still close to downtown Graz. I would definitely consider staying again if travel plans include a location not too far from the airport.

Great quiet location for a chilled out of town stay, especially for more than one night as a base to explore the area. The hotel itself is geared more towards longer stays, with slightly larger than usual rooms and bathrooms and a small kitchen area with microwave and hot plates. The balcony was perfect for the warm weather though the aircon didn't function particularly well so if you like to sleep in a really cold room you might want to look elsewhere. Easy to find and accessible by bus and train though the latter would be a fair walk with luggage. The staff were lovely, and spoke fantastic English.

Overnight stay driving the autobahn
Was on way to Vience from Prague and wanted to stay a night to break the drive up. Hotel is new and contempory style. Room was comfortable, functional and very clean. Breakfast was good. It was a little off the autobahn but not hard to find as it was on the main road paralleling the authobahn, but it was about 5 km.

Modern, spacious stay
The room is like mini apartment, decorated in a modern style, has mini kitchen and is very comfortable and convenient, especially if you stay with a family and have a car to drive to Graz or other places. Supermarket next door for supplies. We used as a overnight stopover aiming to see Graz on a trip around Europe. Would definitely recommend for convenience and condition. Note, that it is NOT in the Graz itself and you need to drive or take public transport

Our stay was nice. The room was clean, but there were some things missing, like soap and other things. Fortunately the hotel offers access to toiletries for all guests, so you don't have to contact the receptionist. The location is great, quite a few shops accessible by walking. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel structure. The kitchen was okay, but the utensils and dishes were a little dirty. The bed was comfortable. The balcony doesn't have any barrier between the other room's balconies so you can see other guests.
