Setting was amazing! Hot tub overlooking lake was awesome dock over clear water perfect for swimming! The house was clean and well stocked. Great setup with the rec room and second bedroom/bathroom essentially their own “wing” of the house. Host was super responsive, welcoming, and accommodating. This has quickly shot to our favorite spot for a winter getaway, would love to come back in summer!

We had a wonderful weekend at this little lakehouse! We have stayed at Steve's Mason Lake house a few times now during the winter. It is an amazing view from the living and dining rooms. We are quite comfortable there and Steve is always helpful and available should any needs come up before or during your stay.

Beautiful lake house with plenty of space.

Three professional ladies came to spend a weekend together for food, drink, and sunshine. The house was as described, photos are accurate, and we had plenty of space. The owners were helpful and communicative. We enjoyed the lake and dock, the hot tub and the lovely backyard. Kitchen has everything you'd need, lots of pots and pans, dishes, cups, and stemware. Stayed for a family get together for my Birthday. The house is very nice, clean and right on the lake. Steve was a gracious host and was attentive to all our needs even offered us an extra day due to some landscaping being done next door. All in all a 10+ will definitely be coming back.

Perfect—Beautiful & Relaxing

We had a wonderful stay with friends at this house on Mason Lake. It was the perfect place to get away for a peaceful, relaxing weekend. The view was beautiful, day & night. The morning fog broke away to blue skies & sunshine—stunning! We enjoyed the hot tub; it was like sitting in an infinity pool as we looked out onto the lake. A bonus was being entertained by bald eagles flying & resting in nearby trees. The house was sparkling clean and comfortable. The host, Steve, checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and was able to accommodate our requests. Definitely somewhere we’d stay again!

The property is great with morning sub and afternoon shade. Great hiking trails lead right from the home. The way to the beach is really steep so we used the boat launch for our kayaks. Takes about an hour to paddle to the home. Wasps are everywhere due to the stone wall so don't plan to eat outside. But that didn't both us if we had no food. Great dock for diving and amazing stay!

Serenity by the lake

Ideally situated for us, as it was between our nephew and his family out in Shelton, and my brother and sister-in-law in Poulsbo. My family however had never been to Mason lake and like us were impressed by the view and calmness. Perhaps things are a little more active during typical summer weather times and weekends, but we were blessed with perfect weather in the 70s and no lake traffic. The accommodations themselves are perfect for families, as there are 2 distinct living areas-a little more than we required for the two of us. Our host Steve was easy to work with, and quickly brought us an iron when we could not locate one in the rental. The only downside is the light in the driveway because it shines so brightly it’s easy to think it’s morning if you awake during the night, and can be difficult to fall back asleep. So if you’re a light sensitive person I recommend an eye mask! We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more except had we stayed longer. We would definitely look to stay here again on our next family visit!

Nice place on the lake

Great location right on Mason Lake. Kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and floating around on the water. The hot tub overlooking the water was a nice touch. Was able to golf nine holes at Lake Limerick, which was just about ten minutes away. Highly recommend this place.
