  • Complete cottage to yourself with a cozy upstairs bedroom, bath, living room and basics to heat up a nice meal! Close to lakes, skiing, hiking and biking trails and minutes off I68! Easy parking and access. A beautiful renovated historic building with a story and!
    A beautiful outside patio area all to yourself! Take a nice little walk with easy access through the well kept meadow to our pond full of fish!

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your loft property. I truly enjoyed your hospitality, the layout and communication. The WiFi was effective for teams and zoom calls. The cleanliness was truly superior. All amenities such as coffee, soap and shampoo were available as if a hotel. Ceramic plates, mugs and wine glasses were available adding to the charm. The creamery is around the corner and they prepared me a lovely full farmers breakfast to go in just 15 min or so. We even had an engaging discussion on the finer points of the seasonal shades of Maple Syrup. My daughter was a camper at Deer Valley and I highly recommend the loft to parents who are in town and needs a respite of a hot shower, WiFi and country elegance. All members of the community were very welcoming and pleasant. I would highly recommend and will stay in the future. Best wishes on continued success.

The loft was wonderful, would definitely recommend. Only 25 minutes to Deep Creek Lake which was beautiful! Host was very nice & answered all messages in good time. Me and my boyfriend loved the weekend getaway, don’t have any complaints.

Great privacy

The privacy in this property was great and the bed was comfortable. It was close to some good restaurants, but the buildings need to be finished with paint. It also would be nice to have a sink in the living area, not just in the bathroom.

Relaxation in almost heaven

Everything was wonderful. Adorable little place with a work out room on the bottom floor if you’d like. Cute little patio area we ate our meals and sat by the fire for hours. Little pond for my husband to fish and me to lay out in the sun. The decor is adorable, country and clean. The hosts were quick to answer any questions, and for a small fee we extended our checkout so we could enjoy a little more time. We will definitely be back for another little getaway from the business of life.

Elegantly Rustic & Cozy

When we first stumbled upon this loft, it seemed almost too good to be true. When we arrived, everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Linda was the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed and even provided us a binder of some places to explore. The kitchen is compact but contained everything needed. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The location was perfect and close to where we wanted to go. Thank you for making our long weekend comfortable and memorable!!

Clean, Quaint, & Cute in Western MD

This property was great! We got in after the sun went down, but small lights were lit throughout & we had no trouble finding our way upstairs. The property looked exactly like the pictures. We were quite impressed. Everything was clean, neat, & orderly. There was even a bin in the bathroom that had extras in case you forgot something. We were there when it was a bit chilly, so heat was needed. The space warmed well & we were fine. This is a place we'll book again should we need to stay in Western MD again.

The loft was just the prescription that two very tired people needed! The cozy atmosphere, and beautiful decor made it such a great place to rest. My husband loved the pond and caught so many fish! We took a few “day trips” to nearby attractions and ate at several restaurants in town, such good food!!!!
