Charming House On The Hill With Views Of The Anaconda Range And Flint Creek
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property and house. We didn’t realize the upstairs would be locked…thought we had access to entire house. But even without the upstairs it was great!! Beautiful views and kitchen had everything we needed! We would definitely come again."
"I really enjoyed my visit. However you need to be aware that these cabins do not have running water or a bathroom. I stayed in the Flint cabin. It was about 50 steps on a sidewalk to the main lodge which was the closest bathroom and shower. Everything was clean and well maintained. The main lodge also had a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, electric tea kettle and Keurig machine available for guests. There was some food available for purchase or you could BYO. There were a number of outdoor activities like a horseshoe pitch, volleyball court, playground, and fire pits with fire wood available for purchase."
"Everything was clean, comfortable and as expected for the listing and age of the home.
We knew going in that a party of 6 to 1 bathroom would be a little challenging but we were able to successfully navigate it. Additionally some beds were more comfortable than others.
The location was great as it was close to town, in a quiet neighborhood, and provided easy access to all of the areas we visited.
The kitchen was well equipped for making meals and had a decently stocked pantry of staple items like oil, salt, vinegar, and some seasonings as well as a variety of other treats. The closets were well stocked with extra sheets, towels, cleaning supplies, and paper goods.
The living room furniture was comfortable and provided a great coffee table set up for the family to play games and relax in the evenings.
Due to the crazy weather patterns at the end of June, we did not get a chance to try the hot tub - the one feature we were excited about. It looked great.
We did contact the host about a couple of things while we were there. They were friendly and responsive.
Overall, it worked great for our family and our trip."
"The house is well set-up for a large family or group very comfortable with a incredible view from the rear deck. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. We never ran out of hot water with several people taking showers at the same time. The fishing at the lake was fun and there is a marina where you can rent a boat. The town of Philipsburg has a great grocery store and Butte had a butcher shop with really good cuts of meat. Plus shapphire screening was a amazing time in Philipsburg. Lastly you couldn't ask for a better host."
