Experience the real countrylife

Location is great, middle of the hills, Eller How Cottage is an ideal place when you love to be away from a busy lifestyle. Middle of the hills, surrounding by lush green atmosphere, horses and sound of water, all make it so calming and peaceful. The property need an upgrade, looks a bit too old. Owner is very friendly and cooperative. Notes on local information is very helpful. Overall, great experience.

very relaxing and spacious

Cottage owner made us feel very welcome. The cottage was clean and tidy. Perfect distance to Windemere, lovely side patio/ Garden, not enclosed tho so not ideal for relaxing outside with exploring dogs and toddlers, but perfect for BBQ's and relaxing in a beautiful space if not having to run after a toddler and shouting the dog to come back. But overall its a perfect cottage great showers and well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels provided, and a hand garage shop just down the road for milk ect...
