This location is nearer the artsy section of town -- and a short walk to the Roberto Clemente Bridge where you stroll across the Allegheny to the center field entrance of the baseball stadium and down to the river walk. Beautiful views of the city and the surroundings."

"The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did an excellent job with cleaning. Nice to have coffee in the room. We had a wonderful stay and appreciate having a spotless room and comfortable beds and a very nice tv. Room is also spacious. With happy friendly staff. Our only recommendations is the shower head pressure. Thank you for a fantastic weekend away from home "

"My family and I really enjoyed staying here. It is is walking distance to the quaint downtown of Mount Washington. It's a small strip, but there are several shops and places to go dining. It is also right next to a beautiful lookout over the city of Pittsburgh. We were very comfortable at this location and the hosts made the check-in and check-out process extremely easy."

"We were happy with our stay & felt mostly at home here. The only real complaint that's not really a complaint is the bed is on the softer side. My wife and I prefer a firm bed. Outside can be noisy with loud motorcycles and lots of people coming to look at the city. This was expected and it typically died down around 11pm. The view of the city is outstanding. The host was awesome! The church next door had a fruit/veggie sale and food truck. I THINK they do this every Wednesday afternoon through summer. It's a short walk down to the right to ride the Monongahela incline. Once down you can catch a ride on the T. The station is just to your right when you leave the incline. It is a few dollars to ride the T into downtown but once you are in downtown, it's free to ride.Also, if you walk to your left after getting off the incline in just a little while you will see the sign for the Gateway Clipper tour boat. This was a wonderful way to see the city The Pittsburgh Tour Company operates a double decker bus you can "hop on and hop off" all day or 2 days for one price. The bus has a stop on Carson St. If you stand on Carson St. with the Gateway Clipper sign to your back, the bus will stop right there. There is no sign, You will just have to trust me. My wife and I found this to be a great way to get around the city and it stopped at convenient locations to explore and catch the next bus. I am hoping these tips help people like us get around the city from the lodging."
