"Apartment was basic. Decor tired. No oven trays or oven dishes supplied. Very noisy area in evenings and into early hours. Notices in apartment stating Portuguese rules re quiet times (10pm-8am) but this did not stop local pub having music blasting till 1 or 2 am and customers drinking noisily on street. "

"We had a wonderful stay here. It was a great location for us, easy to walk around to all the locations we were interested in seeing. Plus there was on street parking for our rental car. If we return to Lisbon for a second visit/stay we would most definitely see if this place was available again. "The apartment looked and was exactly as listed, we love the historic and little winding roads of Alfama. And a beautiful view of the Tigas River. We were there during the massive power outage and got locked out due to electronic keypads, the property manager worked very quickly to get us back into the apartment! "

"If you like Alfama, this is a great location. It was very hard to find the unit. When we received the key we asked if the location was walkable and they say yes. It was very difficult logging our baggage through stairs and rugged sidewalks. We couldn’t use more than one appliance at a time, breaker would trip leaving us in the dark."
