Lovely house on the Snake River that is minutes from CJ Strike Reservoir !

If you're looking for a fantastic view this house has it, with the Owyhees on one side and the snake river on the other it's stunning. A hunter or fisher mans paradise this house is right on the snake river, across from an island that is a popular bird hunting location - there are also several sturgeon holes near the house. Black Sands Resort and CJ Strike Reservoir are four miles down the road and the small town of Grand View with it's quaint market and restaurants is also four miles away. The house is stocked with everything you need to have a great family get away, including lots of movies, board games, and even a paddle board to use up at the lake. Pets are not allowed.

Our stay was amazing, the home is private but accessible with beautiful views around the entire property. The sounds of the river made morning coffee amazing. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be renting this home again on our next trip!

Beautiful Property

We stayed for 2 nights while sturgeon fishing the Snake River. This house is beautiful. The scenes out all of the windows are unreal. If I come back fishing, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Heck, I would come again just to enjoy the views from the property.

Perfect stay

Love this place, we’ve stayed here a couple times when we go fishing at CJ Strike. The check in and out process is super easy, the house is always very clean, and a big parking area for a few trucks and a boat. Highly recommended.

So Peaceful!!

We loved staying at this home and will definitely be back! Family fishing trip to CJ Strike with a newborn. It was so convenient and close to everything. It was spotless and you can't beat the view of the river and wildlife!!

Great Home on Snake River close to CJ Strike

A great home. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen overlooking the Snake River. It is quiet, safe, and serene, a 5 min drive to Grandview. The Internet had some challenges, but worked.

Beautiful setting on the Snake River

The home was beautifully decorated, clean and well supplied. We sat out back enjoying the scenery and amazing birds. The pictures don’t do justice to the view! We highly recommend staying here.

Good location for what we were needing.

A location that was great for the price and what we needed. Saved having to spend time driving to and from Mountain Home. A little hard to find in the dark even with the address and Google maps. There was wifi, but it didn't seem to work any better than the phone signal in the area. All in all, a good location for a decent price.

Incredible views

The house, and the land it was on, was beautiful. You couldn’t pick a more peaceful place to stay on the Snake River. A bit of a drive to get there, but worth it! Every convenience you would want in the house. We had a wonderful time. It’s on our list to come back to!

This is by far one of the best rental properties I have ever stayed in! It is spotlessly clean! Very comfortable--both the beds and the couches. Well stocked. Lots and lots of games for the kids or the whole family to play together! The location on the river, with a big back yard to take in the view, cannot be beat! It is also very private and peaceful out here! We have loved it! Would definitely stay here again if near the area!

Bruneau Sand Dunes Stay

This house was super clean and had a good location for Bruneau Sand Dunes. I saw other reviews about bugs. We let some flys in and killed them, then we were fine.This house is in the country on the river with great views. Bugs are to be expected. Bed and sheets were soft. Our Itinerary while staying here: Bruneau Sand Dunes Sand boarding and star gazing. Bruneau Sand Dunes Park is a dark sky park. You can park in the parkinglot just outside the park to see the stars. If the moon is full you will not see tons of stars. There is a place called "One Stop" between Bruneau Sand Dune Park that we bought a few necessities and they also have good breakfast burritos. Enjoy!
