The home worked great for our group. Beds were very comfortable . The location provided easy access to the city and had lots of shopping and dining opportunities within easy driving. would definitely recommend.
The property is very clean, recently renovated and spacious; great communication with the owner. The location is very convenient for a stay in Grand Rapids and there is ample off-street parking in back of the property. The house is located on a busy street but the bedrooms are in the back of the house and it was quiet at night. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.
This house was a perfect fit for our family of 5. We found it to be very kid friendly for our 10, 7, and 4 year old. Games, toys, and Fuseball were provided. For the parents, we found a very nice master suite. The kitchen was stocked well with plastic kitchenware, the showers with great pressure, and there was spacious parking behind the house. Additionally there were several nearby parks and playgrounds to enjoy and short drives to both Grand Rapids and the Lake Michigan shoreline. Would highly recommend! CRP
It is a nicely renovated home with private parking in the back, making loading and unloading easy. The house and property are just as described. It's on a busier street, but road noise was never a problem. The location is convenient to restaurants, stores, etc. There are a few steps up once you enter the house; just a reference if you are traveling with someone who can't do stairs. I wish the front porch had been clean so we could have sat there some. Overall, very nice. We would choose this rental when visiting again.
We came into town to attend a friends wedding. Location was great. Easy to get to many places. Had plenty of room for us. The only down side I could note is that the driveway kind of sneaks up on you fast until you know where it is. We would definitely stay here again.
We were in town visiting friends. This was a great home base. It was easy to get to everything we wanted to see. The house had plenty of room for us to spread out, but also spaces to be together. The beds were comfortable.
Overall very nice, very clean. Responsive host. Suggestions: Hand rails in shower, benches in bedroom for luggage, back door entry needs something (yellow paint stripe) for the step between driveway and entry outside.
Location is quiet and close to downtown Grand Rapids. Kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of room and beds were comfy. The only drawback was a lack of seating when extended family came over. Another few chairs in living room and basement would have been helpful. Otherwise excellent!
Nice side deck for morning coffee. On a main downtown street so very convenient to get to other places and perfect for front lawn fireworks viewing. Park just 2 blocks away where 4th of July events were taking place. Added bonus! Entire house was very clean. Kitchen was fairly well stocked with enough cooking supplies for our family meals. Very hot weather and owner thoughtfully had cooling mist fans in the upstairs rooms. Walk-in shower in primary bedroom on main floor very nice for our elderly mom. Off the street parking in back very nice. Would recommend this place for sure.
Great place overall, big and recently renovated at an affordable price. Location felt safe, and there is a gas station & restaurants nearby. Beds and bathrooms were wonderful and clean. Only downside is the upstairs is very poorly ventilated and 3/4 beds are up there. Felt very humid and hot for summer nights despite having the AC on so most of us ended up sleeping on the couches on the first floor and basement. I am sure there is some sort of quick fix for this, but I never bothered reaching out to Will to ask about this. The place would really benefit from having a few oscillating fans in every bedroom and desperately needs a microwave in the kitchen.
