I wanna start off that the staff was very friendly and helpful, but the room was dirty. We stayed in a apartment style room with 2 separate rooms that was pretty cool! The bedding was clean but the rooms themselves where not. One room had chip crumbs on the floor, a sock and a cookie sheet in the closet and stickers on all the doors and pictures. The 2nd room had what looked like like fecal matter on the bathroom wall. YIKES! The dish washer had dirty dishes in it, and the cubbords. The hidaway had a dirty sheet on it when it was pulled out. The kitchen table and the chairs had black sticky stuff smeared on it, and we were not comfortable to sit at it. As we arrived late into the evening we made due with what we had, and used only what was clean and safe to use but in the future I will be staying elsewhere.

Pretty good stay quiet and clean. But if you plan on hooking anything up to the hdmi ports on the tv’s not gonna happen.

Great hotel on a budget

Don’t believe the bad reviews. Is it a luxury hotel? Not by any means but it’s clean and cost effective. We loved having a separate room from the kids without needing another hotel room. The bed was very comfortable and the pull out was too. We would stay again.

The kitchenette in the room was awesome. Cute little room with a nice homey feel. Microwave was missing in the room and pool was closed down - so had to go around to the sister hotel for pool/hot tub use. Convenient to local shopping, restaurants and activities.

Relaxing and Wonderful, Will be back!

It was such as an amazing experience that I added on to our stay. There was a fire alarm situation that another guest pulled the button during breakfast. The staff handled everything great! They were calm, they assisted by getting everyone clean blankets or towels to stay warm. It was quick! The breakfast was excellent every day! Much nicer than many other hotels that include breakfast. I also loved that they have a hot tub! Our room was spacious and nice, and a perfect way to relax at the end of a busy day!

Book the Suite!!

The stay was great! Our family suite was more than I expected. A full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and separate queen bedrooms! Very roomy! The only problem was the bathtub drain is super slow, so youll have to wait for it to go down for the next person to shower. Other than that, it was great!

Easy access into Grand Rapids downtown. Easy drive to all attractions. Bed was comfortable. Shower has good hot water and pressure. Only thing they could do better is: supply the kitchen with more kitchen/stove wear. There is a stove top but not a single pot/pan or cooking utensil. Wil stay again after throwing a quart sauce pan and spatula into the car.

The place has an old feel. Doors squeak, front doors kept opening and closing even though it was very cold outside. We could not contact the front desk via room phone - we had to use our cell phone to call them. When I did need a couple of things the staff did respond quickly.

The property was in a quiet area and the staff were helpful and personable. I had to ask for a hairdryer, which they promptly provided. The room and bed were dated and in average condition. A lot of wear and tear in kitchenette.

Great staff!! Clean but shabby hotel.

The staff was awesome. The room and hotel were clean. Breakfast was good. I was EXTREMELY disappointed the the pictures didn’t match the actual conditions and that the hot tub was closed and marked off with yellow caution tape. I picked the hotel FOR A HOT TUB AND POOL. While the overall experience was good, I definitely would have picked differently if I had been aware.

I had a king suite and liked it alot. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. Bathroom was updated adding to the appeal. The furniture in the sitting area needs replacement though. I didn't feel like sitting there but I was there only one night. For an extended stay, that would have been a drawback. Kitchen was very convenient, but they should provide more than one set of eating utensils. The garbage disposal was too powerful for the small size sink. Not a big deal, just throws food out when turned on. Overall a very inviting room. I was not crazy about being across from the elevator, but there were only one or two noisy guests briefly passing by.

Kitchen is nice to have, however, I had no microwave, just the frame in the wall. Disposal didn't work, and sink was clogged so couldn't wash the dishes. Ran the dishwasher as I was packing to leave and the sink came within 2 seconds of flooding the room. Probably same thing happened because the room next to me had a dehumidifier running all night in the hallway and room. Woke up the next morning with no hot water for a shower. Wouldn't recommend unless you are traveling with pets. Wouldn't recommend! The staff was nice.

Generally good, would absolutely stay again. I have to dock some points though. When I booked, my room appeared to have some amenities that were not present in reality. Still, it was clean, comfortable, and secure.
