While having three beds was very beneficial, the black mold in the bathroom put a damper on my shower. Additionally, one of the reasons for booking this hotel was to get a quick breakfast before our basketball tournament. When I went down at 8AM, there was no breakfast. We had to add breakfast to our schedule that morning, which nullified any positive experience about the room size. Finally, the door handle to the room required special instructions to open because it was not working properly. I can tolerate older accommodations, but this hotel appears to have been neglected. Beware the black mold.

Room was dirty, carpet stained, not clean. You can see cobwebs on the ceiling. Very horrible room. Tv went out 3 times, wife got bit by a spider over night. Passing by other rooms that was way nicer. I’m sure it’s because we used a 3rd party booking. But still no excuse. Drove in from Arkansas, so available rooms elsewhere wasn’t an option, or we would have cancelled our room. Will not be back!!

Smoke smelling, trash littered halls

I rented a non smoking room for a one night stay. Upon checking in, I was stunned by how badly the room smelled. Not just of obvious smoke but just dirt or mildew perhaps? It wasn't clean, a chair in the corner absolutely filthy and spaces covered with dust. I figured it was one night, I could make it work. But after going out to the event I came for, I came back to literal teash and dirty towels just tossed in hall & stairwell. I checked out after telling the front desk I couldn’t sleep in a room reeking of smoke and a hall littered with trash. They were polite but not very apologetic.

Not Happy in Hastings

I checked in at 3:30 the first room the TV and phone didn't work. The manager tried to fix TV for a half hour and I said move to a different room. He moved me to room 107 and it was like a sauna it had to be 90* plus it stunk like puke. I turned the air on and a fan and then left the room until 10:00 pm I walked in and the room had cooled down but the carpet was filthy like the first room. I will never ever stay there again. You spend good money to sleep in disgusting conditions. I didn't take any photos but I should have

The property itself is great. If you book here, I recommend not paying ahead of time. Just wait until you get to the property. They’re not up to date and there on property booking system is garbage. They literally charged me after asking if I pre paid. Just by reflex, I guess. He charged me again. Idk. Good property though. Cheap, quiet and clean.
