Recently remodeled during last year, it has been finished to the highest standard of design and quality to keep its rustic Albayzin style while giving it a modern update using original paintings, exotic sculptures, and contemporary furniture.
Located in a traditional “Corrala” building with a picturesque central patio, the 70m2 (750ft2) apartment features all exterior rooms with a light color palate and natural stone and wood flooring which create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
The south-facing living room features two large windows and a balcony that opens onto the main street with panoramic views of the Alhambra and the Generalife. There is a white leather, corner sofa bed, a coffee table, a 42 inch flat-screen LCD television and a modern dining set suitable for up to 6 guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils, tableware, and high-quality built-in appliances including; washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, microwave, Nespresso machine, etc.
The main bedroom features a window overlooking the inside patio, queen-sized bed (150x190cm) and a fitted wardrobe.
The second bedroom, facing south, features a balcony that overlooks the main street with views of the the Alhambra forest and the Generalife, queen-sized bed (150x190cm) and an open wardrobe.
Guests have their choice of synthetic-fill or ergonomic memory-foam pillows.
The bathroom faces the inside patio and is finished with natural stone, featuring a thermostatic rain shower column, chromo therapy lighting, high quality towels and a hair dryer.

The friendly hostess greeted us outside with keys and tour. The dryer mode on the washing machine was appreciated! Spacious and cool apartment in a perfect, quiet location for relaxing after exploring old Granada. Walking distance to restaurants, Alhambra and cave flamenco dancing!
Beautiful apartment in the heart of it all. Very easy check in/out with great communication. Apartment has everything you need to be comfortable and is quiet. Beds were very nice. One thing to note is this street is an uphill walk from the main part of town. There are buses if you can’t make the walk or easy to get a taxi for around 5-6. Highly recommend and would stay again.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 month stay at Art Chapiz apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and filled with light, and as shown in the photos. There is AC is each room and all windows are double glazed so that noise is not a problem. The location is fantastic and very convenient to the Albaicín (a short walk to flamenco school Carmen de las Cuevas and Plaza Larga where you can do all your shopping), Sacromente (just around the corner), and a 20 minute walk to the centre. The local bus goes right past the apartment. Susana was very welcoming on arrival and cleaned and maintained the property throughout my stay so that I always had everything I needed. Thank you for a fabulous stay.
Without any hesitation we would stay here again. Incredibly clean, fantastic beds, and DARK rooms due to great blackout shades.

Very comfortable apartment in the heart of the Albaicin. We walked everywhere, including some great walks in the Sacramonte to see the abbey and the cave dwellings museum. Property manager was very responsive.
Enjoyed Granada at this lovely flat. Apartment was cold & without extra blankets for couch. Otherwise clean with good accommodations. Liked the neighborhood grocery & wine store up the hill. Close to Alhambra if you are fit enough to climb the steep walking path but enjoyed the challenge. Host was very responsive Very convenient to live cave flamenco shows.
This was our favorite place of all during our trip to Spain. Clean and beautiful little apartment with two nice bedrooms, good kitchen, bathroom and a comfy living room. Susanna and Roberto were both helpful.
The only caution I would advise is if you plan to drive, you need to be comfortable in tight, narrow streets because it's the historic district and very hilly and narrow with an extremely tight garage for parking.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay. We would book here again.
Our primary reason for visiting Granada was to see the Alhambra. This location was perfect. It is easily within walking distance. The unit itself was clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Communication with the host was no problem and we were greeted upon arrival by Susana. She provided some great restaurant recommendations as well; El Pozo being our favorite and just a short 100 meter walk away. We loved Granada and this unit and will look forward to a return visit.
This was our first visit to Granada and we nailed the place to stay. We could see Alhambra from one of our windows, and we were oh so close to the main square with loads of tapas bars and fine dining.Susana met us at the garage door and we parked our car for our 3 day stay. Clean, bright and spacious apartment with coffee and tea and all cooking accessories - well stocked kitchen.The art in the apartment was beautiful. We tried to stuff the painting in our bedroom into our Fiat 500 but sadly it wouldn't fit.....haha.Muchas Gracias Susana and team.
We couldn't have been happier about the location and property. Quiet neighborhood at night. Everything we needed (groceries, historic area, restaurants). Parking was a plus since it's not easy to navigate the roads of Granada by car. They provided parking if you need it. We didn't drive until we left, no need.. Be aware that streets are steep. Susana was of incredible help and assistance.
This rental apartment is designed as if the owner intended to live there. From the original paintings to the artifacts and other furnishing, all is thoughtfully done. The views of the Alhambra are simply another sign of the personal artistry of the owner. A month was not enough time to enjoy this storied city nor the beautiful surroundings.
The property lived up to the VRBO description - having said that there are a few improvements - it is a NIGHTMARE to get to the property if you are driving a car - GPS is no help - the property manager assistant should have known this - we felt the bed was way to hard (to our taste) - and no hair dryer - We would come here again - the location was super phenomenal (you can walk easily to the Alhambra and into the Albaicín and Sacromonte) and the apt is simply gorgeously decorated - oh and a grocery store in walking distance (Elemen) - do NOT hesitate to pick this place - just do not attempt to drive there without an escort
This was a great spot for our three night stay in Granada. Its a short (uphill!) walk to the Alhambra, a short distance from the patios and tapas along the Paseo de los Tristes and in the other direction, up the hill, a good sized grocery store and some authentic Albaicin tapas spots/patios. And a 15 minute walk downtown to the Cathedral area, which is also worth a wander. It is on a street that feels quite residential, but it is steep with limited/variable sidewalks and some traffic (although the apartment itself is very quiet). The apartment itself is small but has all the basics and as you see in the photos, has a lot more character than more corporately owned apartments. The kitchen is quite small with just basic equipment - suitable if you are having breakfasts or very simple meals in. Although it's a two bedroom, it would be quite tight for two couples. (Perhaps more suitable if travelling with children.) We used the second bedroom for our suitcases and some of our clothing. Check in was smooth and we had quick answers to any questions that came up.
This is an excellent property within walking distance of Grenada’s best - the Rio Darro, Alhambra, Albaicín, and Sacromonte. Magical triple-paned windows and shutters successfully blocked street noise for quiet night’s sleep.
My sister and I did a trip to Spain, staying in several cities/VRBO’s. We both agree this one was our fav - wonderful location, great interaction with the property and check in was so easy. Also, Susanna helped us arrange a very early morning taxi on our departure day when we checked in. SO great. Highly, highly, highly recommend this wonderful place.
