"Great breakfast. Nice central location and a nice room (could have used a fridge though). One big problem: the room had windows facing a quite noisy square (seagulls very noisy too). The windows also faced the sun and it was a hot summers day. As a result I had to choose between keeping the windows closed and sleep in a very hot room or keeping them open and sleep in a very noisy room."

Es war bei uns in der 4. Etage recht warm... die Fußbodenheizung im Bad war im Sommer an und wir konnten sie nicht abstellen. Den Haupteingang könnte man besser beschildern wie auch die Küche. "Prided for being the oldest hotel in Denmark, you can feel its history the moment you step into the lobby, with its charming period furnishings. If you want a true taste of history, this is the place to stay. The rooms are adequate and warm, though ours had a rather slanted floor. The location is excellent.. right next to the cathedral and at the start of Ribe’s old street, two of the town’s main attractions. A small hiccup during check-in: there was no one at reception, and calls to the provided number went unanswered, which meant we couldn’t access the private parking. Breakfast, however, was fantastic, with a nice variety of options."
