"We loved our stay. My sister and I arrived on the Amtrak and stayed for 3 nights. We loved the hotel and how close it was to a winery, distillery, and restaurants. My sister had a physical disability, so the staff was very helpful during our stay. The shower was top notch and the inn’s elevator was very convenient. We had a great getaway."

"Back for our second visit and will likely be back for a third! Location is nice and private, away from the crowds but still walkable to downtown. Stairs back up are a good workout but it helped us burn all of the calories we ate and drank. Love love love the views."

"Amazingly clean room, very friendly staff, and pet friendly place! The convenience of being downtown, but not close to any busy streets was great! This tastefully remodeled historic home was a excellent place to stay. From the moment we reserved a room to after the moment we checked out, the staff of the Captain Wohlt Inn did a wonderful job making sure all was taken care of. I can't thank them enough for contributing to an amazing weekend in such a historic town. I will definitely return in the future, no doubt! (The cookies they hung on the door at night were an awesome added touch. So much so, that we asked for more!)"

"The cabin was lovely and very welcoming! So many thoughtful touches throughout the cabin such as a bottle of wine, s'more fix-ins, filled and frozen ice cube trays, and cozy bath robes! There was even birdseed left for the feeder, which led to many feathered visitors watchable from the windows. I would definitely recommend this as a place to disconnect from the hectic world and relax!"
