At first, we were taken aback at the un-staffed hospitality concept but we got used to this after we checked in and found it an innovative option. There is always someone present behind the counter during breakfast hours and there are cleaners as well. The hotel has a contemporary, modern feel to it. Our stay at Stenden was a very pleasant one, where we found all the students who were doing their practical experience in hospitality in this hotel to be friendly and eager to help where they could. The room was modern, bright, well proportioned and very comfortable, with little complimentary extras,ie, little chocolate bars and small containers of nuts and dried fruits. The breakfast was good . SUoer helpful staff. On arrival we found that our room only had two single beds, but on request the staff were more than welcoming to change our room to a double. The new room had a magnificent view with a wall of windows overlooking the street. Very helpful with a tip on car parking location. Plenty of options at breakfast and the meal we had for dinner was delicious.

Just a simple little dorm room for me. No bells and whistles. All I needed. I suppose it would’ve been nice if they made the bed, but that’s my only negative.
