"easy check in, super clean rooms, smelled like cigarettes in the morning around facility and inside rooms - smoking shouldn’t be allowed in any capacity in any manner at all - very nice receptionist checking in. Around a 25 minute walk to train station. Giant super market five minutes away"

"We arrived in Cherbourg by sailboat, but the journey had been rough and we were feeling cold wet and tired, and wanted a nearby place to recuperate, rather than sleep on our boat in the cold weather.
