Beautiful cabin on a quiet lake in a remote location. Everything was as advertised. It is remote so cell service is tenuous but this is as expected in the location. Would stay again.
We wanted a quiet get away to explore the UP. The cabin was supper cute and the perfect size. The neighborhood was quiet and the property was perfect for enjoying the lake and the sunsets. It was located perfectly for exploring and was easy to find. We loved it :)

Great cabin for a larger group
Nice place for my group of friends. Lots of room, lots of beds, and the cabin seems to be well maintained. Will consider this for future fishing trips!

Beautiful
We had a wonderful stay at the Lakefront Hideaway. The weather or the fish did not cooperate but we were still able to take the boat out and enjoyed our stay. Very clean and spacious and would definitely recommend anyone to stay there.
Updated pictures would do more justice to the place. It was wonderful.

The house was very dirty. We spent 3 hours cleaning when we got there. Due to unforseen circumstances after that. We decided to leave this property. The owner gave us a full refund. This property has the potential of being a very nice place to stay. If taken care of properly. The views of the lake were amazing.
the pictures were clear. No issues with the site or the cabin. The only drawback was the mosquitos! I did not get to spend much time outside, but I realize this is just the season. They need a frost!!Site is fine but you might want to put some lamps on the ceiling fixtures, it is bright.
This was our second time staying and we would go back again. Home was clean and had everything we needed. The area was quiet, lake and beach were pretty. The only negative was the amount of goose poop on the property, both front and back although i dont know how that could be prevented.

Great venue
Beautiful on-the-lake setting could have not have been better. Great stay in a nice cabin-like home. Very enjoyable stay.
This was the perfect place for my group to stay for the week for fishing. Lots of beds, lots of room, and right on a lake. The cabin is nice and clearly the owners are working on making some improvements.
Property was clean, cozy, secluded and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Host was great with communication. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return for another trip in the future.
Had a great time at this cute place on the water. Great driveway and water access. It was a long way from anything (which was fine with me), but we enjoyed driving the area to see the sights.
Nice way to unplug no Wi-Fi The kids were forced to be kids a great time fishing and swimming but it is out from a little bit of everything so pack food and clothing accordingly everything seems to be about a half hour to 45 minutes out including the nearest store so make sure you have gas and you have to bring your own sheets which was a big downfall but was so easy to clean up and throw everything back in the car My cat grandkids were having a good time they're random toys must have been left from other families but we're glad to have something to play with
The place was great! Annie was awesome to work with. It's a beautiful quiet lake. I've been coming to this lake for years. But first time staying here. We loved it. Plenty of room for everyone. There is no Internet, but it was actually kinda nice. Took the kids sometime to get used to that . It was fun watching DVD's and VHS with the kids.Great beach area and dock to enjoy. I'm sure I'm missing stuff. But we loved being here for a week. Definitely looking forward to coming back. Oh if you're particular to your own blankets and pillows, I'd bring your own stuff. And some extra beach towels if you have a larger group with you. Thanks for everything Annie
The cabin had a nice view of the lake, the use of the kayaks was awesome, great centralized location to all we wanted to see(Mackinac Island, Picture Rocks, Tacquonemon Falls, Whitefish point/bay). Curtis is a cute place to get groceries and not far from cabin. This is a great place to get unplugged and relax.
We are four brothers and our four sons who stayed for a week. It is difficult to find accommodations that include 8 separate beds, so this location was ideal. Unfortunately, we picked a week where the fish were not very cooperative, but we still had a great time. The rare occasions that we had to deal with the host were pleasant and productive. We will be considering this place for next year's trip.
The cabin has great potential but all the beds were awful. It could have been cleaned better there was cat food on the floor, which is an issue when you have a 1 year old, crumbs on the carpet from the prior guests, and the windows seals were disgusting when you wanted to open it for fresh air. The location is great and the outside area is perfect! The property manager answered my email right away!

Disappointed
I only have 2500 characters to use so I'll keep this short... The owners did a great job responded quickly through txt/email or phone. They seemed very nice and had decent responses for my concerns/questions. Until I arrived to the cabin. I'll start with the the boat: i could go on and on, But here's just a few:
1. The boat stressed me out EVERY day.
2. It is not taken care of (like the cabin)
3. Because the boat needs to work so hard, it requires gas quite frequently
4. The boat doesn't require a "mechanic", it is extremely touchy because it needs maintenance
5. The boat should NOT be list....but that's the only reason I selected this place .....
And the owners said they would have "Cory" come out and fix the boat.....but that did not happened.
Upon arrival, outside property was maintained, however over flowing trash was sitting unattended next to the house. Annie B said a neighbor, couple houses down, takes care of the trash. To make matters worse, I had 2 1/2 full trash bags of leftover fridge/freezer food to add to the piling trash. There's nothing like starting your vacation having to spend an hour cleaning the kitchen.
It doesn't stop there.... the shower curtain was DISGUSTING ( hard water stains are one thing, MOLD is another ....I bought a new one and hung it up....you're welcome. Annie did offer to reimburse me..... didn't offer to reimburse my overall disappointment with the place.
The rugs (carpet?) not sure what to call it, were filthy, I wore sandals inside. The bed situation is a mess. If, after reading all these post decide to go....master bed is NOT a queen. It's two twins pushed together. Upstairs is a mess, cluttered and dirty mattresses.
Other minor flaws, can't open all windows on main floor. They open but screens don't fit properly so bugs can come in. My husband and I were able to fix most screens to capture a nice lake breeze. Clutter, clutter, clutter.
Positives, the fire location is nice (even thought the fire ring has a hole hot coals fell out of.)
The property was private and quite
The washer and dryer worked well
Two folded lounge chairs in the closet, nice for the boat
The lake is beautiful (especially sunrises and sunsets)
I clearly expressed my concern with Annie and she said this is her first year and blamed other renters and housecleaning. I suggest the blame game to stop and some TLC provided before other renters waste money.
