Great house for our girls trip to Shipshewana! Very clean and kept up! Loved the info on the area and books and games were some of our favorites about it! The one little complaint is that the oven door was terribly squeaky and very annoying every time you closed it. Other wised loved it!

This place is awesome!! It was a perfect holiday getaway for our family. The property was just as described and very convenient to Middlebury/Shipshewana. We will definitely come back to stay here.

Lovely and peaceful

This was a great place for us to stay for two nights. We love the area, it gives you a great feel for the community. It was a true farmhouse. Very clean, great communication with the owner, peaceful, great place to rest.

Great place for extended family!

We had several families stay at this amazing farmhouse during our son’s wedding weekend. There is a nice private area off the side porch which we enjoyed. It was very clean. There were some extra touches that made the kids happy like snacks and corn hole. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Everything was perfect!

Girls weekend

This property was perfect for our girls weekend. Everyone had their own bed, and the dining room table was a great place to sit and talk. The property was as described and the host was very responsive.

Perfect place for our women's group

We had such a lovely time at the home. It is charming with plenty of room for our group of women to gather and enjoy time together. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean and welcoming. The host made everything so easy for us. Thank you somuch. I hope we can come back.

Amazing Overnight Stay

We had a group of 5 girls and 3 women stay overnight at the Yoder’s. The house was built by his grandfather and has a charm worth experiencing. We arrived later in the evening and were welcomed by a lit Christmas tree, decorated mantle and the electric fireplace going. There was water in the fridge, snacks and coffee. We loved the house and plan to stay again. The host was equally amazing.

Older country home very clean and welcoming. Does have a musty smell which caused two of our group issues who have sinus allergies. The goody basket and coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar was a real nice treat! If you plan to do much cooking, bring your own skillet, pots and pans. Beds comfortable. No electric outlet in either bathroom so for three ladies to do their hair it was not easy because the only outlet is in the BR where the shower, sink and mirror are. Beautiful country setting. The frozen food available for sale was much appreciated as well. And it’s tasty! We were in town for a reunion and there were 6 adults, 2 teens and 2 children. The host replied immediately when I asked questions.

What a fantastic experience! Chris's communication was perfection- always available to answer any question I had. He even went above and beyond by laying out some books and activities for guests that I had purchased. Everything was thought of from all the amenities anyone could want to numerous food options! The stay was great and I couldn't be happier!

House was a lovely blend of charming 80-year old farmhouse with modern updates for a comfortable stay. Peaceful scenery of Amish country. Comfortable bedrooms and surprisingly spacious inside. Our only challenge was that kitchen supplies and stove were somewhat limited, but we still managed to make do and cook meals for our group. Overall, we would recommend and definitely stay here again!
